We started solids for Vyktore when he turns 5 months. Gave him cereal once a day. He loves it so far. Doesn’t show funny faces. I think I have another *wai sei* baby. I’ve got a few samples from paed (Dumex, Nestle, etc.). Tried giving him Dumex, he’s OK. He’s on Nestle now and he loves it.
Sad to say that I haven’t got much chance to feed him :(…cause when he sees me, he’s expecting McB from me instead of other food…so I have no choice but to let maid feed him while I take photos and distract him. He gets very excited and waves his hand all over when he’s eating *roll eyes*. Since he’s not able to sit up properly, we put him on the bouncing net when feeding session come.
Lately, we started giving him some rusks biscuit. We have A LOT of rusk at home cause Faythe won a hamper from one of the baby photo competition in M&B Mag end of last year. And Faythe doesn’t like these biscuit anymore, so I kept till now hehe…haven’t expire mahh…
Now guess how many biscuit this fella can finish. Faythe can only eat 1-2 at one go. This lil fella, he can finish 4 biscuit (soften with 5oz BM) at one go!!! Yes, he did that one saturday. OMG!! My eyes almost popped when I knew this. I’m sure soon we wil be out of biscuits at home and he’ll be sharing food with Faythe LOL…
We are starting him on porridge this week, praying hard he will like it like Faythe…and hopefully he’s not a picky eater too.
probably Vyktore is jealous about his sister’s size and just wanna play catch-up! 🙂
Rowena only likes milk based things. Tried feeding her banana and later sweet potato and she hated it. HOpe she is not a picky eater otherwise can pengsanla

yeap yeap…waisek baby is more easier to take care ler..hehe..at least no need to worry he not filling full mah…:p
can’t agree more with other mommies that wai sek babies is easier to care for… like my Darrius… like a trash bin! Apa pun makan… except medicine! hahaha
He is a boy.. he wants to grow up strong and big 🙂
Don’t worry, they eat a lot now.. but when they are bit older, they start being choosy. Good that they are eating well ehrn they need the nutien to grow up 😉

Basically boy will be a bigger eater. I would advise you to hold back rice (beras) for another month. At the meantime, just feed with cereal only.
We were told by our paed that we should feed Raelynne different types of milk so that she’s not picky in the future. Maybe its true hor? Get her used to other milk taste. Else later only stick to one brand susah.
4 biscuit? not jelak meh? However I find that Nestle cereal is too sweet. Better start him with plain porridge.

Last time whn Zara started.. she only took like 1 tbs of food.. Vyktore good appetite!
Wow…5 rusks at one go! That’s a lot. I have never given Bryan 1 rusk at one go. Usually i wil just break off half and give it to him to suck on to keep him occupied when we are having our meals outside.
For his meals last time, i just give plain rice cereal with EBM. EBM oredi sweet, so no need sugar in the cereal.
Wah, so young can eat so much edi? Sure he is gonna grow up like daddy. 😛
