before I start posting on this, comments to previous post on Vyktore’s camou. My hubby used some ash from the cigar he smoked and smooched on him LOL…Nice effects yah…

OMG…Faythe is 26 months as of today, and look, the scrap shows 24 months!!! I’m so blur. Loosing count how old my kid is. Will correct the scrap and reload when I have time.

Anyway, here’s our lil princess update for the month:

Weight: 11kg (taken on 4th Mar)
Height: don’t know, but I think she’s stretching tall a lil bit cause her pants keeps going shorter n shorter every few weeks!!
Teeth: Lost count but I don’t see any new ones sprouting since sometime ago

Dietary:
Eats anything and everything that is available unless it’s spicy. She still loves mushroom and veg.

Development:
I think I’m loosing out on this as the time passes too fast and I can hardly remember what’s her achievement last month. Here are some which are still fresh in my memory.

Expressing herself with I
She has start expressing herself with I. She will say I want, I want. She will say I can’t do this. She will also say I don’t want this n that. So far she’s pretty clear on the usage of I, but a bit mixed up with the usage of YOU. She will say, pls help you, instead of pls help ME when she want to ask for help. But when she say she will help you, she uses it correctly. e.g. Faythe help you.

Still loving the brother
As they grow older, I foresee there’ll be alot of fights going on, at the same time a lot of tender loving moment. She’s still very protective over the brother. There was once I went to one of the boss house and I told her we gonna give Vyktore to the boss, she went to the boss and asked him to put down Vyktore LOL. At the same time, they fight for toys, fight for books etc.

Money Craze
She knows how to differentiate coins & notes. Daddy tried to trade her off by taking some of her notes (ang pau) and give her coins, and she made a big fuss out of it LOL. Of course if we trade off a RM100 with a RM10 note she won’t know cause she doesn’t know the value as yet.

Chained to Mommy
She’s getting so attached to me sometimes I have difficulty escaping from her. Even when I want to shower she doesn’t let. She wants to join me, which she can’t as she already bath. I don’t know how long this gonna last, lets hope not for long.

Same and different colours
She’s able to tell which are the same colour and which are different. But she still can’t get her colours right. The only colour she knows, black – her hair, blue – daddy’s car, green – trees *she gets this wrong sometimes still*, gold – mommy’s car.

Stubborn
I’m not sure if this is due to terrible-2-character or not, but she can be quite stubborn sometimes. One example was last Friday, we made her sit in the car seat and maid & Vyktore had to sit beside the driver seat as there were so many things in the car. This is not the usual arrangement and she was so upset about it. She tried to escape from the carseat by force, I could see her face all turn red. She managed to escape the shoulder straps, but not the waist one. In the end she cried all the way home from MIL’s house.

Vocab
I’ve lost count of what are her latest vocab development. She amazes us everyday with all the new words. I’m starting to speak Cantonese to her so that she can learn some words there since everyone else in the family speaks English or Malay to her.

Slippers
This is a new milestone. I ever thought when will they learn to master the art of wearing slippers cause it needs some toe skills to *kiap* that thing between the first and second toe. Faythe is able to do this and she’s going around with slippers nowadays.

Taking out shoes
She has a very bad habit, which I don’t know where she picked it up. She likes to take her shoes or slippers off when we are dining in rest or sitting in the car. This is so so impolite to me. Still trying to tell her she shouldn’t do this. My say, you take out your shoe, means you don’t need shoes, I’m gonna throw it away next time. It works on the spot, but needs constant reminders.
