Poster Model

My department is having some photography competition. The title is Sports in Action. But the response is pretty poor :( . Yeah..probably because sports is not something that we capture daily. So the committee (incl. me) decided to put on some mini poster on the notice board to encourage more entries. I was tasked to design the poster. Manage to get it up within a day, but finding sports related photo is not easy!!!

I took the weekend to go search for some pics (go around snapping pics). It was raining weekend, so I couldn’t go to the park. So I got some ideas. Snap some photos of:

Basket ball – I have that at home
Rims of F1 car – I have an F1 toy car at home LOL
Racquet – I have badminton racquet mah…so just arrange it and shoot it

And of course my ultimate shooting is my model, Faythe, as you can see..sleeping on the basketball haha…..Look at her face, so serious. The poster went well and approved, now it’s on the office notice board, encouraging people to send in their entries ;) .

OMG…what the **** is happening!!! My sick soldiers is accumulating in my house. Gotta be the air in the house, or the germs. Better fumigate the house tomorrow and kill all the bacs. I’ve got 1 additional soldier in my list. Nope, that’s not me. I’m still standing tall. It’s my maid!!!

I went home last nite like 9pm+ after a whole long day of shopping, movie, shopping with Cheryl & Faythe, Vyktore was at home, no fever anymore, sleeping. When I got home, I saw my maid wearing a cardigan, that’s it lah…she’s got it too!!!

She’s smart, already popped redoxon by herself haha..but not good enough. I gave him panadol. This morning she was worse. She puked after breakfast. So we brought her to the clinic to get some antibiotics.

So how’s the other 2 soldiers?

Soldier 1 – Faythe
She’s fully recovered, but still coughing a bit here n there. Itchy throat I guess. In fact she just coughed and vomitted on the blankie. And I was lucky enough to catch that moment and quickly took a piece of dirty laundry and held it at her mouth, cause the next thing she puke quite a fair bit :| . Lucky thing she didn’t cry a bit (yeah..she’s a cool & brave girl). She saw the puke hahaha…so we went to clean up, gave her some honey to soothe the throat and now she’s sleeping soundly.

Soldier 2 – Vyktore
He’s 90% recovering, only get fever once a day, and not that high. I’m not sure if that’s the power of BM, but the fever seems pretty shortlived in him and his series of high fever only comes 1-2times. But he’s very sleepy, right now knock off to wonderland with chau kung probably.

Gosh…not only 1, but I have 2 sick fellas now :( . Vyktore is also down with fever. Discovered that last night when he woke up for night feed. But his temp is not that high, still controllable. Today is 4th day for Faythe, 1st day for Vyktore…looks like my 5 days plan gonna take a back ride…..

5 days off AGAIN!!!

Wahh…when I counted it’s 5 days. I jumped with joy. No, it’s not the number of days I’m off. I’m working on Monday cause that day alot ppl on leave, that’s the best day to work kekeke….but Daddy is away again for 5 days!!! His fren bought a yacht and invited him and his friend to look see in Langkawi wohhh…since he has timeshare and lots of leave dunno what to do, so he went lah. Good, I want to see the yacht..but I rather stay in KL haha…

So when he’s away, here are my plans:

Saturday
Go Sweet Deli to makan makan, but gotta cancel cause Peter says mango fettucini tarak stock :(
Go Paddington Pancake house – I can eat pancakes, Daddy don’t eat these stuff, so I gotta go when he’s not here…with Cheryl
Watch Mr. Bean – bring Faythe watch Mr. Bean hehe

Sunday
Go lunch at Kuala Selangor Seafood with colleagues

Monday
Back to work

Tuesday
Tentative plan is picnic at Morib with Jessie Ling. Anyone wants to join?

Wednesday
I believe after so many days of marathon plan, gotta have 1 day to relax haha….
Updates on Faythe: She’s feeling better today, at least not so whiny, can talk and walk and like usual…I hope she’s better tomorrow. Thx for all the well wishers.

Sick Again :(

I guess it’s time of the year again. Been hearing so many adults/kids falling sick. Faythe didn’t escape this time. Yup, she’s sick today. She was already not feeling well yesterday. High fever on and off. But today it’s worse, it’s high most of the time.

Bad cough..coupled with phelgm. And when she’s sick, she’s super duper manja!!!She sticks to us like a Koala Bear. She only stick to MIL or ME. Sigh…

And you know who she takes precedence of this manja thing? Mommy!!!I still remember my Mom used to complain bout me being to manja when I’m sick. I practically wail and shout for my Mom eventhough she’s just going to the toilet hahaha…..And now she’s exactly the same!!

We were trying to swab her to bring the fever down. First time she got tricked. 2nd time she struggled so hard…both myself and maid gotta hold on to her!!! The swabbing is really good, the fever goes down very quick!!

What can I say. Pou yeng lorr LOL (revenge on me liao)

Tube Addict

I never thought that Vyktore will start so young on this. He loves Wheels on the Bus and some other educational CDs. He’d sit there quitely, at least for 30mins watching the VCD. He also learned some actions from the VCD. When the Wheels on the Bus song goes blip blip blip..he’d put his hand up and try to imitate hehe…

Me of course likes to disturb him for fun (naughty Mommy) when he watch his show. I’d stand in front, block his view. He’d shift his head to the left…then I move to left, he’s shift his head to right, then I move to right..we repeat this until he sometimes get irritated LOL…then I’d walk away, then I’d go back and disturb him again haha…

Back in Action

My broadband at home is finally back in action after it went down for 5 days!!! And I really curse the ISP for taking so long and FFK me yesterday. I’m am so so P*ss…I called them and scolded the supervisor (2 of them) and ended up they have to call me every hour to ask me if their vendor call me.

I even went to the extend telling her that if this is not fixed, I’m gonna call Ananda Krishnan (like I have his number LOL). I don’t wanna go to the extend of the details of the calls I made and all the words I’ve use, (no, non of it is brutal…but I’m challenging them with words like SLA, Customer Experience etc..based on my experience in the service line) which made them dumb-founded cause they never expect me to ask about the SLA.

Now I’m gonna call them and ask them to waive for 1 month as per the bad experience…lets see if they’d give that to me.

Now I have alot of Blog reading to catch up…..might not be able to leave comments :(

Five-fingers-slap-you

I was camwhoring one night with the kids as usual. Faythe was busy posing, running around, taking books etc.

Vyktore as usual, tries to crawl about chasing the sis. But since I wanted to unpack the some toiletries that we just bought, I put him in the cot. I’m very worried of this boy cause he likes to pick things and chew :| . The other night he picked up some furball from the carpet and chewing away…wah liaoo…

After a while, as usual, he made a lot of noise. He never like to be put into cot, unlike Faythe. I didn’t bother with him at first. Then I resumed my camwhoring and took pics of him. He wasn’t too happy with me taking pics cause he’s still in the cot haha…

Then this fella decided to slap me with her five fingers kakaka…Look at his angry expression and his hand..all ready to give me his kungfu slap :P …

Lil Driver

So other than car craze, Faythe also likes to take the driver seat. Now that she’s older, she’s no longer in the car seat most of the time. Vyktore has taken over that. But we still have a special seat that can strap her around and sits next to me (I’ll blog bout that special seat later). So everyday when we reach home, once she gets out from her seat, she will climb over to my car seat.

Then she’d sit there and pretend driving and say:

Faythe: Faythe go kai kai…bye bye…
Mommy: OK, bye…I’d close the door and leave her driving LOL (of course I have the keys with me and also handbreak is up)

She’ll sit, stand, hold the steering, pretend to engage the gears…only thing don’t know how to do is honking haha…

There was once she accidentally honked..she was caught surprised and then she laughed it off.

Faythe, be driver OK, but don’t be bus driver..must be high class bus driver like Daddy :) .

Pretending

Faythe is very good in pretending. Pretending she didn’t hear, pretending she didn’t do. When she does something wrong accidentally (i.e. knock something off the table), instead of crying or putting it back, she will pretend as if it didn’t happen and walk off *roll eyes*.

When I saw her doing that, I’ll quickly call her over and asked her to admit. To me, it doesn’t matter if she did wrongly, but most important is to admit and say sorry and won’t do it again. When I ask her, she will not dare to say she did…she will just keep quiet or sometimes change topic. She will say something else and try to distract my attention *roll eyes 2nd time*. But after a few times of questioning, she’d say “Faythe” .

Gosh..I hope she will not have this habit of doing wrong and do not admit and start lying to escape herself.

The pic above, I was asking her to pose for photo..but she refused and pretend didn’t hear. She look right, look up and started singing…*slap forehead*
