Food Review: Mini Boat Porridge

Monday morning, let me tempt you with some yummilicious food review hehe..

I’m sure most of you out there watch HK TVB Series, and they always mention the word *teng chai chuk* (as in mini boat porridge). And you must be wandering what is that. I’ve only been to HK once, stopover and of course I didn’t order any Teng Chai Chuk, but if you want to try it in KL, here you are. Those that eaten before, does it really look like this?

Just a bowl of plain porridge. Top with shredded ginger, slices of century egg, fried ikan bilis, peanuts, cuttlefish, fish, fried vermicelli…yum yum…simple and yet so delicious.

Where is this place, not a restaurant, but a roadside hawker stall at SS3 (I think). It’s very near Taman Bahagia LRT Station, behind a row of shops, where they always call *Big Drain Hawkers*, Yes there’s a drain which is very big there haha…

They also serve Fish Head Noodle which is equally delicious. And next to it there’s a stall which sells fried balitong & shell fish (not my cup of tea though).

Sleep Replenish Weekend

I must be missing my sleep too often. For the pass 4 days, I’ve been sleeping early. Like 10am, together with the kids. And at times, I’d overslept till the next morning. But sometimes, I’ll get up like 1am, looking at the ceiling. I decide to write/read blogs. Then I’d get back to sleep at 4am…till 8am…it’s seriously not healthy having such sleeping orders. arghh…

Just like today, Daddy went to work at 5am. I was tossing and turning around. Was sleeping with Vyktore last night cause he caught a cold and has slight fever. Lucky Faythe was OK sleeping with Daddy. So after Daddy left for work, I couldn’t sleep. Decided to wake up and manage to grab 3 PPP post…so that’s considered lucky. Now I wonder how come they releasing post on Sunday (their time). Weird!!

Frustrated F1 Weekend

I was all geared up to watch Hamilton grab the winning title during this week’s F1 Race. This is the 2nd last race of the season. Being on pole and raining condition, he has all the advantage, and yet at about Lap 30, his tyre worn off. Both the rear tyre were looking as though it’s gonna come off anytime. And when he turns in to pit, he lost control of the car and it ended up on the gravel. Which obviously the Stewards were not able to help him push the car.

So that was the end of his race. and 10 points gone!! Now we are going in to the final race, with leading just 4 points. Geezz…..that is sure a nail biting race!!
