I took leave on 3rd Aug as we were supposed to be in Penang, but due to detour from Penang to PD, we had 3rd August free. I decded not to cancel my leave since I still have tonnes to clear.
So we thought it’s time to bring them to Aquaria KLCC. We wanted to take the LRT at first, but due to H1N1 spreading rampantly, we’ve decided to drive instead. One whole car load as usual. My SIL & nephew followed us too.
Frankly speaking, I’m not really pleased with Aquaria KLCC, not only it’s expensive, but the varieties of sea creatures there are pretty limited. Personally I prefer Underwater World in Langkawi.
For the kids, they were more than thrilled to see all the sea creatures come to life so near to them.
Vyktore didn’t like the place at first and wanted to go “kai kai” and kept pulling my hands away. But when the Shark Feeding started, he just sat there, mesmerised by his favourite animal, shark O.o.
There were baby sharks, some lobsters & starfishes on exhibition where they allow you to interact with them closely. Daddy went to touch the baby shark. I touched the star fish (so hard like rock!!)

That’s one of the sharky we spotted.
Here it comes. It feeds on frozen fish. I wonder how much they feed this fella each day to make sure he don’t attack rest of the fishes in the same tank.

We were all done within 1hour+ and then we went home since Daddy weren’t feeling well.
That’s the end of our Aquaria excursion :P.

I was sorry we missed Aquaria during our stopover in KL but since we’re *hoping* to go to Langkawi, maybe we can still give Lucas the chance to an underwater world 🙂
Your hubby looked like “boh suang” in the 2nd pic. That was until i read the last paragraph about him not feeling well. No wonder the muka like that. LOL!

Yalor.. I also find the Acquaria a bit of a disappointment. At least you get to watch the shark feedings.
Anyway, I think at kids’ expectation, it was good and fun enough esposure. 😀

yea, expensive entrance fees! At least u catch the shark feeding time. Last round when we’re there didn’t got chance to see that.

I have to agree Aquaria is not an ideal underwater world to visit… visited it once 2 years back and not happy with it… hehehe

i’ve been to aquaria once with shan leo, and thinks the same – expensive & not worth money! will nvr go aquaria again 🙁

I haven’t been but VT said that it was very very nice when they first opened it. He was working on that project so he went in free all the time initially kekekeke
