Just weigh faythe, she’s now 5kg!!! That’s like so fat hahaha…..dunno how accurate is this, but certainly can feel that she’s heavier and eats a lot too. I measure her thighs, at first it was skinny, now it is fat…

It’s saturday, exactly 1 more week to go and that’s it…I don’t need to wear sarung anymore…no more drinking the dreaded red dates tea, no more eating ginger, no more washing hair every 4 days….that will also mark the beginning of more motherhood responsibility. I realise that ever since I gave birth, I still not prepared to spend the amount of time with faythe…just not used to having someone interrupting you every now and then, just so weird. But after this, only myself and maid left in the house when Mun Wah is not around, then looks like I have no choice…in fact got to do most of the things in the house including cooking if the maid is not able to cook!! By now she should at least learned some cooking skills by observing the CL.

OK, no more talking…..need some more bedrest…..

It’s certainly surprising to see myself blogging at this hour..not that I’m waiting for Mun Wah who is on the way back, I just woke up all a sudden at around 1am…..and i calculated faythe should be getting up anytime..went to check her since she has not been feeding for 3 hours, paranoid lah…scare of SID. Turn out that she’s sleeping soundly…then minutes later she starts to wake for her feed…..And I’m sitting here now blogging after finishing my first ermm…morning feed of my life. There’ll be more to come I’m sure for that..it’s the beginning, well at least my breastfeeding war is beginning to fluorish, despite that I was pretty distressed in the afternoon as she wasn’t feeding well. Talk about 360degree change in a day!!!

OK tonite is also big nite for Man U, as they playing Chelski in semi finals of Carling Cup. It’s gonna be at 4am!! Geeezzz…Just wonder, who knows in the coming months, I’ll be feeding baby and watching midnite football at the same time. Time to think bout astro *hint*

Now I’m waiting for my supper to come home with hubby. Flying Langkawi Miri today…..sometimes I do pity him working at these hours, but then again the pay is so tempting hehe..oh yah, aunt florence is getting me a baby carrier, that’s gonna be pretty handy :). It’s like a basket where u can fit into the car and also carry around..this will be a whole lot easier in transporting the baby :). Praise the Lord that everyone around us are giving us gifts for faythe.

A new place for afternoon nap perhaps

oh the date is coming closer and closer..Tomorrow it’s exactly 3 weeks…..yippee…..and next week it’s the last week…time definitely doesn’t fly when you are in such situation…it crawls like a snail :(.

yesterday was Thaipusam, some vacuum cleaner salesman came to demo the super cleaner that can even suck dustmite!! End up doing double demo for Mun Wah & MIL and MIL bought the cleaner…..niahahaha…..then we can loan once a month to suck the dustmite, hehehe……Then Frank and Gerard came visiting, Frank bought stroller for faythe…cool man, can sleep on it, can sit on it too…..and under it has a basket, can put all the stuff there while go walking around :). Then George Cheam came, as usual to makan and minum lah…..Mun Wah cooked macaroni with carbonara fishball sauce….yummy…..it’s like i never tasted such good food for years man…talk about food deprive

faythe has got colic :(…spent the whole nite yesterday burping her..damn a lot gas, mouth keluar, buntut oso keluar…poor thing, this is the problem lah, feeding tarak betul from the CL….she’s sucking more air than milk!!! So today is new mission, no more formula, oni breastmilk in morning, nite got 3 bottles of breastmilk oso, enough to last for the day.

the battle with CL has begun…..I dunno why this is happening, probably due to PND hormones…but I’m certainly getting upset and irritated pass 2 days for the following reasons:

1. told her that I want to breastfeed, the minute she sees me going into my room, she start feeding baby with bottle. Due to this, baby has refuse to be fed by me for the pass 2 days….damn upset lah!!!
2. ask her to steam pork, she go and fry pork, then come telling me, I fried the pork, didn’t steam….I thought I can select what I wanna eat!!!
3. told her the pork in the fridge can be cooked, she insist those are old pork, cant cook for me. But I told her it’s not old cause my MIL bought it, not me or Mun Wah. But she say it’s OLD, DUHHHHHHH…..I say still have to cook what, then she took the pork to the kitchen, and then again came and told me, it’s OLD lah, not fresh. OK fine, then u cook and eat lah if i can’t eat….what’s wrong with this woman!! If she don’t wanna eat, then throw away lor, why still keeping in the fridge since she claims it’s OLD!!
4. I saw her shaking faythe with the bottle in her…OMG!!! That must have caused a lot of gas going in….result of she refusing to sleep last nite!! Pretty upset lah she’s doing this….Guess I must start my duty next week and start practising soon before baby refuse to breastfeed more, then I’m doomed!!!

OK, no more complains, just needed a place to thrash all out. Back still hurts, bed bed, need more lying down :(.

GOD, please help me…I hope I wont need to quit breastfeeding by end of this month, as it’s really frustrating seeing the baby cry and refuse to suck when u want her to do so so much….

oh btw, for those looking forward for gambling session, Mun Wah has confimed, yup this year there will be hopefully if things goes well. The return of Indian tou san

She’s now 2 weeks and 1 day…..Looking at the calendar, I’m really looking forward to end of the month, that’s like 1 more week to go and confinement is done!!!!!! Although I might not notice a lot difference in her development, since I see her everyday, I do notice her hair is getting long, her eye lashes too…nails got long so fast after I trim them last week….and she’s more chubby. The only thing I’m worried is once confinement is over, that’s when my sleep get disrupted…will have to work out a schedule with mun wah to take on this, the maid is just not reliable to handle such a task.

My only hope is she will adjust to the pattern soon so that we can time it more easily. As for myself, I’ve managed to loose 2kg more…kekeke……now 66kg, 8 more to go. Tummy look smaller, got to tie that dreaded bekung…..it’s darn hot now, sweating all over and tieing that just makes things worse. That’s why I’m so so looking forward that confinement will end ASAP.

2 weeks gone, 2 more weeks to go…..I’m like sitting in a jail :(. Now I think that confinement is 10 times worse than giving birth man!!! It wasn’t the pain that kills me, it’s the Post Natal thing that’s killing me. Beginning to imagine when the CL is no longer here, how can I manage.

My back is getting from bad to worse….jeezz, now my right buttock is painful. But at least a lot of gas has been let out hahaha……

Mun Wah been getting mood swings lately, probably due to daddy baby blue…he’s not prepared to handle the baby for feeding at nite, which we have to do once the CL goes back. He keeps saying put it to the maid, but u cant trust the maid for these kinda things when she can’t even do her housework properly!!! Guess I’ll be having a lot of sleepless nite :(. Be ready to see me and my panda eyes.

Faythe been doing fine for the pass 2 weeks…..waking up for milk, sleeping late still :(, beginning to respond and look at people more…good signs, hope she can hear and interpret what I’m whispering to her everyday and tune her time back before I go cuckoo….

Haven’t been blogging pass few days…..was having some massage, very nice, very expensive, and it works….now back damn pain…cant sit long, so better blog fast

It’s wonderful to see your baby responding to you. I’ve been worrying that she has hearing problem, as she’s not really responding when I call her *knock head*. So today while i was feeding her, she fell asleep…then i call her, she smiled :). How sweet. Then I call her again and tell her smile for mommy, and she did!!! AMAZED :). But I’m still not too comfortable with her listening skills, will bring her to paed to check. Probably I’m just over worried.

Been getting some visitors pass few days..it’s nice to have people around especially when you are grounded at home :P. But as my back hurts so much now, I need more rest…So will only blog when it gets better…..hopefully in days to come. It’s almost 2 weeks, and I keep asking Mun Wah, is she bigger ah? Certainly she is…getting heavier oso I suppose…Just hope that this 1month confinement is coming to an end soon…good nite and sweet dreams my darling..don’t be an owl lah, mommy later very charm oooo……

Day 10 - Faythe learns to stick her tongue

ahhh…..finally it’s done, whole afternoon struggling with redesigning of the page :). That’s the problem when you dunno html or web programming….got to look see look see…..so slow. Guess have to pick it up later on :).

peaceful afternoon….faythe sleeping soundly, Mun Wah watching his star trek, and me sitting here finishing 3 flask of red dates water while editing the webpage.

I’m starting to do some timing for feeding and expressing milk. Must start to do some work liao before the CL goes back and I’m doomed!!! Faythe seems to be an owl, forever awake at nite and sleeps like a pig during day time. *BIG HEADACHE*!!!
