we had baby dedication today in Church.
Prayers for the baby, plus a certificate LOL….And a huge roast pork for luncheon :). Pretty cool, everyone enjoyed the food and Mun Wah enjoyed chopping it up with the help of Uncle Chua.
since the maid’s departure, life’s a bit upside down…so now trying to adjust without the maid till the new one comes….Well, I have a week to go before I start work, thereafter will be all for my MIL to jaga. All the best to her kekeke……
This had happened to a lot of people, I’ve heard stories all over the place, but until u experience it yourself, u won’t believe that these are real stories!!! Yah, my maid ran away…..early morning around 5am i guess. I woke up 430am to feed faythe, and I heard her going bathroom..then I was thinking, eh so early bangun one this fella today…but I didn’t bother continue feeding faythe. At 530am, after finish feeding, I went out to take water bottle, when I realise that she has folded the bed nicely. So I thought must have got down to wash car, the usual time.
I went back to zzZZZzzz…woke up 845am, walk out to the living room…ehh..how come all the curtains are drawned together, usually it’s all drawned away…then i walk to kitchen, no sign of her, see clothes never wash, dishes never wash…hmmm…then went to check her shoes, it’s gone!!! Being more alert now and suspecting something wrong, I went to check her clothes, true enough most of it are gone, she left her bag here though…jeezz…so I went walk around, went to guardhouse ask them, no one saw her…So i call my MIL and told her bout it lah..Then when I got home, told Mun Wah confirm sudah lari. I called the maid agency, and while i was talking to the agency, saw a piece of paper left outside the balcony…Yup, she’s smart enough to write us a letter…saying sorry she chau lou, but she can’t stand it anymore and don’t wanna work liao. She say I always scold her…..hmm OK, yah I do scold her, but not shouting type, talk to her sit down and question…so bad meh…and I don’t scold her for no reason, she’s lazy, always do work half way and tell lies, how not to scold rite. ..
Anyway, no more stories about her….I went to make police report and maid agency to settle the stuff. Insurance will pay us back 1600RM. But agency won’t replace a new maid as she’s already 4th month…this the heartbreak part. Means gotta spend another 5k to get a new maid!!!
But I still thank god for this to happen…to make us realise how we should handle maid in the future. It’s really an eye opener. Also thank god that she wasn’t taking care of faythe at nite, or else she would have runaway together with faythe.
OK enough of maid experience…..Mun Wah going to install prison management system at home!! His friend got this system, u make the maid to wear a detector, once it’s tempered or she moves out of the preset system range, the alarm will trigger!! Wow, keng chau rite…..Think it’s a good system for those with maids…
Lesson learned: Never leave your maid wondering around the apartment even just to throw rubbish, they can never be trusted.
And there’s no way I’m gonna be able to locate her…If you are looking for someone from years ago or trying to just find a friend, you can use a people search website and should be able to find them right away
sigh..the one I most feared has arrived….Faythe got eczema. Brought her to paediatrician today, luckily it’s mild, so just got some cream and apply on her face. Now the face so rough like sandpaper lah…poor thing…..and it’s itchy!!!
these few days must pamper her a bit till the eczema gets better…Michelle told me to clean her face everytime after feed. Guess this is what I’m lack off that triggered eczema. Read in the net that we should not clean their face with wet wipes as they contain alcohol which might trigger alergies as well. So no more wet wipes…better tell Mun Wah, he’s the one that likes to use wet wipes on her face. Guess it’s too strong for her.
She’s now 7 weeks…seeing her growing week by week is simply fascinating. Now she begins to smile a lot when u talk to her. And she enjoys looking at the music mobile. The only down thing bout the mobile is u got to keep winding it, or else music will stop…tiring lor keep winding :P. Sometimes she will do some *hiao* smile and look at you, as though she understands what I’m talking to her.
One more week to go, I’m back to work. Mix feelings of excitement and also a bit not used to it. Won’t be having more noon naps after that…first day of work, sure no work, need to move to 8th floor, then start checking all my mails…last I checked was 600 unread!! bet half of that are not for me to read, but FYI. Also must start to prepare myself for expressing milk in office. Guess won’t be an easy task afterall, but good oso lah..got reason to be lazy kekeke……
It’s a beautiful day today…the family went to the park, Mun Wah busy handling out flyers for his MCA thingy..I was carrying faythe in the kangaroo pouch walking around and giving flyers too…..and our little pig sleeping like a pig hahaha….It’s really nice to go take a walk in the part early morning…..the fresh air….looking at all the aunties doing linedance and taichi..very interesting hahaha!!! Probably I should be doing more walks in the morning with faythe @ the park behind our house, good for both mommy and baby.
We’ve started giving her pacifier since we discovered last nite that it does work when she gets too fussy…but I’m still sticking to the rules, only use when necessary.
A lot people tell us that life changes after you give birth…well it sure does, my waist is thicker, butt is bigger, eye bag also bigger (just found out there’s an extra line under the bag 
)……but some things still remains the same :). We still enjoy going pak toh and watch movie together, thanks for having MIL around hehehe…..it’s really helpful at times like this. At least it gives us a break and sometime to spend together.
And one thing that for sure has changed, my sleeping lifestyle…no more late sleeping, get some rest before she wakes up that’s most important. So goodnite for now…..Will be waking up @ 3am….yawnnnnn!!!
haiiiiii…….now I know why all mothers got eye bags…the baby refuse to sleep even after she’s got her milk, happily finish sucking all the milk from mother, oredi carry her for hours…fell asleep and put her on cot, 5 mins later sudah bangun!!! Give up…I’m leaving her to cry in the cot…really dunno what she wants after all the hours I’ve spent…
It’s an every night thing :(. Gosh…..Feberize, feberize..must feberize…..haiii……she had her hair cut today, now it’s nice and neat, looks like national service, evelyn said….LOL…..
hehe…caught this while I was trying to make her sleep today. Pretty cool huh, like some gangster asking for *pou wu fai* kekekke…..I brought her around today while running my errands, she managed to sleep throughout the whole car journey…..phewww…..Then after her lunch feed, since she refuse to sleep alone!! Heck, I slept together with her, and we woke up at 3 something, then she had 4oz of milk…WOW, sudah bigger stomach now hehehe…..Good Good, means mommy soon can wake up less in the wee hours 
it’s getting long and she got rashes around her neck, so decided to snip it off…just the ones at the neck, not the whole lot…I still like her hair very much, so will probably take some time for me to snip them hehehe
Yah…..I almost did faint..if not, would have killed myself or bang my head to the wall. Dunno what’s wrong with faythe today, she didn’t wanna sleep, had enough food, didn’t wanna play herself, keep on want to carry and talk…I was so so sleepy and our fren just so active…Mun Wah pulak sleep like a pig!! Just when I manage to make her sleep and I nap for 10mins, Mun Wah woke me up!! arghhhhhhhh…..almost wanted to slap his face and walk out. Patience kept me together in the end….and thanks to evelyn whom drop by to visit me and helped me oi oi the little fella, she slept in her arms for an hour plus……phewww…..that was a good break.
Had a good chat with evelyn, found out that sara is another monyet, always never sleep….Guess nowadays baby needs less sleep than adults…Do you agree? Or maybe all those born in monyet year memang like that….She mentioned sometimes must let them cry, or else next time sendiri susah…Think time to get some ear plugs…3 rules that I find that I can let the baby cry:
With that 3 rules, can put on ear plugs and start “hell like training”. Mun Wah says she might need more milk now..so try 4oz but for 4 hours…realise that she eats damn fast when it’s 4 hours feed.
Something interesting that I’ve learned on how to save money from my fellow colleague, SMun. She gave me a sample on how to take out all the jelly (cotton) substance from the diapers, wash it clean, dry it and recycle!! Tried it today with the maid for 3 diapers, it’s really simple job!!
There you have a recycle diapers pants…pretty cool huh….Oh btw, only use this with diapers that is soaked with urine, u won’t wanna wash diapers with shit on it..ermm disgusting and also dirty lah…
I realise that faythe is growing at a rapid speed…few weeks ago, she was still the sleepy head, only wakes up for feed and once a while wakes up to play…that also not very active type. But this week as she approaches 5th week, she’s more alert and spends more awake time. She likes to play herself, which is good…she’ll be kicking her legs and shaking her hands all over, till she gets bored or tired then she’ll start to ask ppl to talk to her…And she likes ppl keep talking to her…waiyooo…..I talk until no more saliva she still wanna talk. She also start to respond to you when you talk, she smiles, she gurgles….it’s pretty amazing seeing a baby growing day by day.
BTW, I need to get a music mobile for her…..she seems to crave for something to gaze at when she wanna fall asleep and I’ve nothing for her to look at expect the rattle toy. Hmm…go get it on Monday as her V’day present :). We’re going to KLCC to pak toh and dump her with mil kekeke…It’s been a long time since I went KLCC, i think at least 6 months if not 1 year.
