It’s a weekend again, without Daddy (he’s coming back this Friday)…but not only that, it was a weekend without maid too, cause MIL is moving house so she borrowed all the maids (mine & SIL) to help her speed up the process. So with the *2 people world* weekend ahead, I have planned some itinery for myself and Faythe so that we don’t grow spiderweb at home hehehe…..so here’s what happen:
Mommy work from home today cause has to get some personal things sorted out…ended up screwing the mechanics at Proton Service Center. Well I won’t let this screw up my entire weekend, so heck. I’ll pay the extra and get better service.
Went for MMR jab in the evening, whoaa…she cried so loud and even scolded the paed!!! (with her spanish language)…poor girl. She has gain a little again. Now she’s at 9kg.

Anyway, we went to Curve for dinner @ Sakae Sushi. Been eyeing on this for a longg time…and because of alot of reasons (dinner partner not free, Daddy is around), so haven’t got a chance to eat that. Finally manage to go there hahaa…we were amazed that they were having some line dance performance at the BHP demo petrol kiosk.

Faythe as usual is amazed lah…..even attempt to walk and join those jokers dancing!!!

It was also her first time seeing water fountain…just outside Sakae Sushi…attempted to play with the water, but the line dancing kept her to busy…she’s just so happy toddling around. After she has got her satisfaction walking around, we started our dinner @ Sakae with Frank (my dinner pal)

As usual, we went to market early morning. Had to finish off a lot of stuff before dropping maid off to MIL’s place. Faythe was pretty tired by noon, so took a nap from 130 till 330pm. Then woke up for her lunch. We had visitors…..Shannon, Angie and lil’ Sara came over to visit us. Evelyn suppose to come, but FFK us…..Sara and Faythe I could say is the closest among all the toddlers we’ve met. They are just 7 days apart, Sara born in US, Faythe in KL. Both of them has got same height, weights the same too..hehehe..but we see both of them as one meaty, one skinny…probably Faythe weighs more in bone-mass.
Anyway, they had a fun session, sharing toys…looking at each other…just so cute. Shall arrange more of such session. Next round will be over @ their place, in the pool hahaha…..
Dinner time, again we have companion, Frank & William drop by and pick us up. Headed to 1u with intention to try out Kluang Kopitiam and evaluate their food for some reasons (not to review). Well, roti bakar doesn’t taste as good as the one behind our house. I had nasi lemak, OK only..not sure why there was such a big crowd. Laksa seems that better than Uncle Lim. I’m a non-Uncle Lim supporter hahaha…..

Then we went Jusco to get my slow cooker, thanks to the RM50 voucher I got from the office dinner, only paid RM99 for the 5litre slow cooker…Yahooooo……strike off one of the item in my buying list. *Mommy big grin*. Head home and went to bed early for Faythe.
Sunday
Suppose to help MIL direct the workers in the morning for moving. So we woke up about 830am. Faythe had her milk, then we changed and went for Mommy’s breakfast. I had dimsum, with Faythe sharing some of the food. She was such a darling, sitting still and looking around while I had my breakfast. By the time we finish it was 930pm, head to MIL’s apt. Was there till 1pm, then went home.

Faythe was tired, but didn’t want to sleep. So decide not to force her. I finally get to watch Harry Porter on DVD, while she toddling around and fiddle with things…she attempted to put her shoe into the camera casing hhaha….in the end she couldn’t tahan anymore, so I took her upstairs (pause my Harry Porter) and put her to sleep. I too nap for a while. Both woke up at 530pm. And time to get ready for another round of dinner….. Dinner was with a bunch of colleagues, they *cheng* Mommy as belated birthday makan hehehe…we decided to go for Ms. Read, as review was good and American Chillis was banned by Adwin :P.
So strap her in car seat and off we drove to 1u. Was so lucky, we manage to get parking within 5mins. I didn’t take the stroller, a bit too much to handle. So I just put on shoes for her and let her walk around.

Reached the restaurant @ 7pm+, Adwin wasn’t here, the rest was here and looking at the menu. Not a lot of us, 5 adults + 1 baby. Faythe was pretty well behaved too…play by herself (with whatever I gave to her), smile and took some photos and entertain the rest of the gang.

We waited for quite a while for Adwin to arrive, so we ordered drinks first. We had strawberry smoothies…Faythe just love it, finished up half the glass *Mommy grinning at her liao*. While waiting for Adwin, of course we starting snapping photos. We are a bunch of camera craze jokers. Philip owning a DSLR (but didn’t bring that day). Adeline with her digicam (she took some great photos over @ Leo Ku’s concert the nite before). And of course Mommy with her old and yet reliable camera :).

Ahh…finally Adwin arrived, so we all ordered our food. Lucky thing we didn’t have to wait too long for the food to arrive. I would say everyone was pretty satisfied with their food. We ordered 2 desserts to share…..
Lemon Meringue Pie - ewww…so so sour…..even Faythe can’t tahan hahaha…
Blackforrest Choco Cake - wow, damn nice lerr, it’s served in a glass!!! Faythe ate some of the chocolate too…
We left the place around 9pm+…all so satisfied after the big feast. Thumbs up for Ms. Read, shall go again hehe…Faythe was tired, doze off when after we reached home and changed her.
So that was the weekend without maid….and who says Mommy can’t handle Faythe alone :P…with a lil’ help from friends, I’m sure it’s an easy task. Tired but enjoyed.
Note: notice the time, it’s 2am in morning!!! I woke up from my slumber, check my sms and holy cow!!! 30cents petrol increase…now is that a good reason to work from home more often!!
