another tag to return, courtesy of my BU buddy hehe…6 weird things about me.

1. I hate buying shoes
Yah…you must be thinking what kinda woman is this, don’t like shoes. Shoes are definitely not my best friend. Why I hate buying shoes cause:
90% of the shoes out there are 3 inches and above, which I can’t wear
remaining 10% either those I don’t like cause of the design, or their heals too slim (Stileto type). So if you ask me, I can tell you I only have 1 pair of working shoes, when it’s worn out, only buy again LOL.

2. I hate processed fruits
Some people like durian dodol, dried guava, etc. But I can’t stand fruits in other forms other than the fruit itself. I don’t quite understand why a fruit taste so nice, but they gotta change it to preserved form..or flavours..ewww…(sorry lah, durian dodol lovers, don’t mean to say bad about that, but I seriously beh tahan). Even durian flavour ice cream turns me off LOL.

3. I hate chilli/tomato/sweet sauce (those yong tau foo black ones)
This another weird thing. I’m a Cantonese, supposingly ppl say Cantonese like sauces. But nehh..not for me. I eat things without dipping sauce. Fries, Yong Tau Foo, Noodles (without chilli n soya sauce). I like it pure taste haha…I have the thinking of if I put sauce, it will cover the actual taste. But of course there are occasions where when I have craving for sauce, then I’ll put alot sauce haha…But sweet sauce is no no…i got a fear of black looking edible things (except hokkien mee)

4. Obsessed with stationery
I don’t know why, but they always look so pretty and cute and it seems to be calling me each time I look at them, “Buy me..buy me”. So everytime I go into the stationery shop, I sure end up buying some stationery, be it my own use or for kids. Now got kids can have excuse mah LOL.

5. Pretending winter
I used to have this weird habit when I was young (at least till 15yrs old if I remember correctly). Everytime when it rains, I will wear long sleeve clothes (2 layers), socks, long pants. Like winter hahaha…I’m so afraid of cold, I always do that when it’s raining. But funny thing is I won’t put the blanket over me, just wear more clothes.

6. Collecting garbage
I’m also like Shannon, likes to collect what some people thinks as garbage. I have KFC cups (those with starwars as the cover), I have TGV cups (those with cartoon covers), McD toys (which now becomes my kids toys) and a whole lot more stuff. I’ve disposed some of it as there are no more space in my house :(. Feel very sentimental though.

Another guessing game haha…lately alot guessing game, syiok eh…

Guess what my 2 lil kiddo fighting for? It’s no big fight, but they just love to get each other attention by creating small fight scenes.

Went to Genting for a 2D1N trip mid of March. It was a very last minute trip and we booked the apartment from time sharing.

We went there with Daddy’s friends, all together 3 apartments. We arrived there pretty late, so didn’t do much. Went to the indoor theme park and only did 3 rides (for Faythe), 4 rides (for Mommy - I went for the roller coaster). She was very tired, she refused to get down aiyoo…and I had to coax her to take the rides LOL.

Lets hope next trip to Genting is better one. Vyktore enjoyed himself, looking around and romping all over the apartment. It’s a pity he can’t enjoy the rides. Maybe when he’s older.

Nothing much to write about, as I guess everyone knows Genting better than me haha…I’m not a Genting-goer. This is my first time there since like 5 yrs ago..that shows how much I *like* Genting.

A simple scrap just to show some of the pics I took.

I’m getting more and more fond of taking pics of Vyktore. At the beginning of first few months, he wasn’t that attractive. Coupled with bald head, aiyoo…but now as he grow older, he’s becoming such a poser I can’t resist taking pics of him. In fact I find that it’s easier to capture his shots than Faythe’s shot cause Faythe always refuse to face the cam..but she wants to see the pic we capture and comment that pic not nice *roll eyes*.

So it was another camwhore night with my kids. Nothing to do at night (since I change to new role in office, I have more time at night with kids..yippie!!!) and Daddy was flying. Got my camera and I tried to make Faythe pose for me, but failed. She’s more interested in reading her books and telling me about her stories rather than striking a pose.

So Vyktore became my victim haha…I like to tickle him as usual. The game goes like this:

Mommy: Vyktore boy…….Mommyyyy….tickle tickle Vyktore *move my fingers below his armpit*
Vyktore: screams in joy…ahh..hehehe..hehehe..hehehe…..
Mommy: snap snap photo
I keep repeating this stint until Vyktore had hiccups as a result of too much laughing LOL. I must admit that this stage is the best to play with, cause when you call them, they will come to you and they still want to play with you. Whereas at Faythe’s age, she rather explore herself and only comes to me when she has question. I do miss playing with her sometimes, but then again, I have Vyktore…*grin grin*

Looking at this pic, how could I resist not to love you..You are just so loving and adorable my boy.

We have a box at home that was used originally a potty box. One day, Daddy went to cut a hole at the bottom, and 2 holes at the side and made Faythe to wear it like robot. Faythe of course didn’t like it and screams to heaven.

2 weeks ago during CNY, suddenly she got so thrilled with the box (dunno who simulated her), she took the box and put it on, walk around the house and say “Mommy, Mommy, Faythe Robot”. Then our dearest maid tried to take it out and decide to put on Vyktore to make Vyktore a robot too LOL.

Of course Vyktore didn’t like it. I saw what they did, couldn’t help but join in the fun. I turned the box around (the hole facing the bottom), put Vyktore in the box and then pull him around like a choo choo train (with sound effect somemore). All of us had a good laugh. Vyktore, he enjoyed the ride and at the same time looked so confused why he’s in the box kekeke…

Faythe also tried to tow him around, but obviously he’s too heavy for her.

A lot of us might heard of the word SD Card. That’s the card commonly used for our digital camera. But micro SD, that’s really something new to me!! Sony Ericsson calls it M2. Whereas other phones call it Micro SD. It’s basically the chip they use for our phone nowadays. It comes with a SD size version where you can slot in the micro SD. Again this is very nice to use to transfer files from phone to PC vice versa if you do not have that *darn* USB cable to connect your phone to the PC.

I discovered this few days ago when Daddy went to get it in CompWar SS2. And it’s soo cheap!! only RM29!! And guess what’s the size, 1GB!! Whoa..I’m amazed. Can even use it for camera.

Gosh…I really can’t imagine nowadays technology are getting more n more affordable. Storage is definitely not any limit.

OK, sometime ago I blogged bout Lil toes of Vyktore and Mommy. Some nice pictures I took with Vyktore’s toes and I scrap them. Today, we are gonna have lil fingers. Not only Vyktore’s cute fay fingers, but Faythe ones as well.

Lately I’ve been putting them to sleep together, cause as Vyktore gets older, he don’t need me to rock him. I just let him crawl about on the bed (like a maggot LOL), he finds the right spot and dum…on the bed..zzZZzzz….Faythe is also the same, but it takes longer time cause she got lots of excuse not to sleep. She’d ask me for this n that.

Usually after they sleep, I’d rearrange them. Vyktore into the cot, Faythe on her mattress.

So one night, after both of them fell asleep and since they were sleeping so close to each other, I took the opportunity to snap photos of their fingers. They were sleeping opposite each other (Faythe’s leg at Vyktore’s head & vice versa). So it’s actually quite easy to position their hands. Put one hand on top of the other…snap snap..here’s my fav shot. Only 1 lah, I dare not arrange the feet and the rest as Vyktore is Light Sleeper hehe..but I’m satisfied with the outcome ;).

Guess who’s hand is on top, who’s at the bottom? No price for correct guessing hehe…

Today is yet an unforgettable event. We had 14 toddlers & babies (5 girls, 9 boys), all dressed to kill, with one mission. The youngest blogger meet of the month (don’t think it’s of the year as there were only 14 hehe). They had a great time, mingling around, getting to know each other (some only know each other in MSN). The food was OK..but Faythe claimed it was *tak sedap*. All in a well spent weekend for everyone.

I took about 120 pictures during the lunch itself.

Erika - pretty but shy. She refused to look at the lense.

Jinren - cool boy and another leng chai.

Fearless - he looks so serious. I hope he’s not scared by my huge camera.

Cruz - busy eating away, too busy to bother what’s happening.

Kylie - aiyoo, she’s so chubby, I really want to pinch her cheeks.

Rachel - another leng lui in the making, with the killer pose.

Kieran - the leng chai that is so busy colouring and also pretend didn’t see me.

Izac - he’s the one!!! He kept winking (fong tin) his eyes to me when I try to snap his photo.

Ivan - Izac’s brother, he didn’t *fong tin* to me, but he suddenly sat down when I call his name. Maybe he was surprised why this auntie know his name LOL.

Faythe - the girl in purple dress, she was so busy walking around and hanging on to my legs *gosh*.

Vyktore - Sleeping prince. He only survived like 30mins into the gathering and made his way to wonderland after that. Woke up for milk when everyone else left.

5 things you don’t know bout ME.

1. I’ve got gold hair
hahaha..not that it’s natural, but I dyed my hair recently after having black hair for 4 yrs, got bored. Fresh look, love it.

2. I love driving
Am I nuts or what…I enjoy driving alot, esp. if I can speed the car (bringing it to 160kmph at least). This explains why I need to drive most of the time, not Daddy.

3. Kepong-kia
Yes, I’m originally from kepong. Alot people doesn’t know this cause I’ve been moving around. But if you ask me about Kepong road, I’m a bit lost now as it has changed so much.

4. Nearly died
I thought I almost died 8 yrs ago when I had typhoid (Cantonese call: chu mou tan). I was so sick back then if it’s not because of my then manager recommend me the dr. to cure it, I think I might have died of this illness. And I must thank Faythe’s Godmum’s Mother for taking care of me during that period.

5. I don’t like English Songs
This is really weird, but it’s true. I’m English ed (banana so to speak), but I don’t fancy English songs unless those good ones. My fav are Mandarin and Cantonese song which I don’t know what the lyrics are, but just love ‘em.

When it comes to stubborness (is there such word?), Faythe is definitely no. 1. Especially when she’s tired and sleepy, she can become very demanding and difficult to handle.

Sometimes even I try to explain to her, she will not listen and wants it her way :(. I never give in, but just try to keep explaining. If all fails, I’ll just continue with what needs to be done, and leave her there whining. After a while, she will stop, if she finds something distracts her. I realise that it works to actually leave her alone rather than trying to explain to her during that time where she doesn’t accept explanation.

So what happened? It was some time ago, she was really tired that day (didn’t nap the whole day). I know she is, but when I asked her if she wants to sleep, she says No. So fine. I needed to shower and get ready as we wanted to go out for dinner. She refused to let me shower. She wanted to follow me into the room. After failing to coax her to play with Vyktore & maid, I told her OK, you can come in to the room, but i have to close the door.

So she’s left in the room, and I’m in the attached bathroom. She didn’t allow me to close my shower screen door, but I had to or else the water will be everywhere. So I closed it, s

he wasn’t too happy. She was rolling on the floor, whining. Not crying, just whining and stamping her feet, showing her discontentment. While bathing, I actually opened the door and told her, Mommy gotta bath, you just wait. Tried to distract her ask her to read her books, but failed lah.

So I continue washing my hair. 5 minutes into washing hair, suddenly it all went silent…And I was like, aiks…what happened. Only 2 possibility:

1. She went to play something else in the room
2. She fell asleep

I tried calling her, but no answer. So I slide the door and peeped. To my amaze, my stubborn lil girl who claimed that she’s not tired, fell asleep on the FLOOR!!!

Yeah…just like the pic you see on top. Amazing eh. I tried calling her, she was already in wonderland. So I continue taking my shower. Finished taking my shower, went to take my camera and nicely snap a few photo of her sleeping on the floor LOL. She must be so so tired, my poor gal. But due to her stubborness, she had to sleep on the floor hahah…

Later on, I carried her up the bed and she slept for a good 1 hour before we went for late dinner.

Anyone’s children who sleeps on the floor like Faythe?
