Pssttt…I’m back from Bandung 2 days ago. Absolutely a trip that I will never forget. We shall talk about it later once I get the pics sorted out.

It’s the 30th Dec 2007, 2nd last day of the year. And here I am, rushing to install the laptop for Daddy. And I thought i want to blog…saja lah….cause I miss all my readers :).

Just got back from one of my close friend wedding. We totally enjoyed it, we dress up, get the make up artist to make up for us…haha….pics to come later. I’m just manage to download all into my PC cause I have 2 more events coming up.

So 1 more party for 31st of Dec…..that’ll be more mellow down since we are all so so *young*. Then we will close the 2007 curtain and kick off 2008, yet with another party ;).

So tired, gotta hit the sack now…..chiao…..just another I want to write, but can’t think of what to write post.

OK, for the pass few days, I think I nearly raised the white flag. It was like endless events in office. Not forgetting they needed photographer for every event. And since some of us (the photography club people) started going on leave, I had to cover most of the events…whichever they requested for photographer.

  • 2 carolling sessions
  • 1 toastmaster session
  • 1 christmas gift exchange session

Whoa…I think I spent most of my time last week taking pics than anything else. Then it’s the meeting for Dept. Annual Dinner…and all that co-ordination. Finally, I manage to get all the stuff done before my year end break. Yup, I’m officially off work from 22nd onwards till 1st Jan 08. Will only be back to office 2nd Jan. But being me, I will still check my mail at least once a week, when I have time, in case some urgent matters crop up.

Didn’t do much pass few days, I’m also down with sore throat and running nose..sigh…..I caught the running nose from Vkytore, he’s alright, but I’m still having it around. I hope I recover in time for my trip. We leaving for Bandung after Christmas and will be back before year end to attend wedding & celebrate the New Year.

We having Christmas Party & carolling at MIL’s house tomorrow. And in the morning, I will have to attend one of my close friend’s chip san leong…really busy.

A very early Christmas to all readers, in case I don’t update the blog after this. And a Happy New Year. This would probably be the last few post of the year. I’ve moved all my scheduled post to next year and leave this blog on a BREAK :).

See you in 2008 everyone…..

The kitchen sink been leaking for weeks. Sigh..the plumber really did a shoddy job previously. He changed the faucet, but didn’t seal it properly with sealant. Now few months down the road, it’s leaking like nobody’s business. Not forgetting, i think the tap we’ve got is not that good quality as well. Which probably contributes to the leakage. Must remind the new plumber that we’re gonna engage, make sure we get Delta faucets when he does the replacement next round. Time to call the plumber and stop the leakage.

Heard of cactus? Alot of people had probably heard of the nutrition of cactus plant. How the flowers/fruits of it can actually be consumed for the health of human being. But have you heard of hoodia? It’s actually a plant, pretty much similar to cactus, and contains a natural botanical ability to suppress a person’s appetite and promote weight loss. This rare plant can only be found in Africa and has been scientifically proven to help reduce weight. Are you cutting down your food recently? If so, why not give Hoodia a try.

Did you ever get bored when you are in a lift? Bored cause you have to travel like 88 floors and all you see is those unfamiliar faces and the surroundings. And at that very moment, you just wish there were something else that you can look at. Perhaps a plasma tv lifts. That sure will brighten up my day. You can catch up with the latest news shown on the tv. Or even some MTV to cheer you up early in the morning. This is one product that will definitely be the future of lifts in construction industry.

Faythe is so much like Daddy. She loves Laici. Those canned ones. She can sit down quitely with Daddy, and both of them finish the whole can!!

Whenever we go shopping for groceries, she will ask me to buy her laici. So we usually stock up 1-2 cans at home. She’s very excited and wants to eat it. But I tell her that we have to chill it first. Then it will be nicer.

And she never forgets. Next day she’ll take it out and ask us to open!! There was one evening, she actually asked the maid to open the can for her. And took out 1/2 of it. Brought it upstairs, and sat on the floor and eat while I was having my conference call!! And she enjoyed it so much. Now I think better buy fresh laicis for her instead of canned ones. I’m sure she’ll love it.

When is laici season ah?

Vyktore loves Kiddy Rides. Whenever he sees one in the shopping mall, he’d go after it. He will want us to put him on it and then he will shake and move…hoping that it will move. If it doesn’t, he will take our hand and ask us put money in :|.

I’m OK with 1-2 rounds of Kiddy Rides…but he is NOT!! He wants to sit there forever and he doesn’t want to get down :|. If we try to bring him down he will scream and don’t want us to carry. So how? I just let him sit on it without moving…he move himself. Till he happy and tired. Then I slowly divert him to do something else then he will get off.

Faythe new hobby, folding cloth :). She thinks that one acts as a present, one as the wrapper. Those are actually my specs cloth. She started folding these in my car when car stuck in traffic jam. Good that she has something to keep her occupied.

She will put one cloth, open it up. Then put the other cloth on top. Try to fold the inner one nicely. After that, she will attempt to wrap it nicely. Then she’ll pass to me..say that it’s “A SANDWICH“!!

Then she recently took those cloth and started folding at home on the table. She do get frustrated at times when she can’t wrap ‘em nicely. But other time, she will be busy folding it, wrapping it and passing it around. I think I should get her some plain cloth with lines, and ask her to fold to improve her skills. Who knows later can help fold clothes :P

I don’t know why, but I like watching my kids playing with blocks. I’ve bought them 3 sets so far. One of the set is pretty different. It doesn’t come in shapes of square or rectangle, but round. When 4 pieces join together, it becomes a round shape.

Faythe didn’t quite like it at first, cause it looks a bit more challenging than the usual block she plays with. But one night, she started to put them together and eventually found a way to do it. She showed me her 1st round shape. I encouraged her to do even more. At first it was different colours. Then it became same colour / shape. She gets faster and faster.

In the end, she finish up like 20 block of cakes. She told me those are cakes. So I helped her arranged it nicely like a tower. Then she wanted me to sing “HAPPY BIRTHDAY” to everyone *roll eyes*.

So I sang the song for like umpteen times…and she blow the “imaginary” candle…and we keep repeating it. I think she’s very proud, having make so many cakes in just 1 nite ;).

OK folks…I’m going bonkers liao. Maxis line has been up and down for the pass few days. I’ve called them for the umpteen times trying to get it fix and yet to no avail. My modem is up for 10mins surfing, then it goes down, I reset it, up for another 10mins, then gone…this is driving me crazy!!

Anyway, for the coming few days I might not be reading the blogs, cause I’m super duper busy in office & at home. Sigh…office is more or less close after 21st, so I’m trying to rush and finish up everything before year end closure. And there are so many events in office which needs photographers…..argghh…

Not forgetting the planning for Faythe’s Birthday, that’s like an uphill task to perform.

Nevertheless, post are still coming from this blog as they have been pre-scheduled :). Chiao…
