I did another round of Pregnancy Photoshoot 2 weeks ago. This time round it was for Paik Ling. We’ve planned for this very long ago and finally we got to do this before she pops.

Since she stays nearby, it was really a blessing I don’t need to get up so early :). So I sneak out around 745am while both my kids were still in wonderland (I’ve told Faythe the night before I’m off for a shooting). I arrived at Paik Ling’s place close to 8am and had breakfast there as well :).

We wanted to shoot some photos for Bryan, Paik Ling & Hubby, but we didn’t manage to do any at all :(. He wasn’t at all impressed with my giant camera in front of him LOL and kept avoiding me haha…

We had a lot of fun with Paik Ling though. We did most of the shots at the backlane for outdoor shooting. I like her housing area, backlane also so beautiful LOL. Then we went back to her house and did more shooting in her room. Most of the time it’s just Paik Ling, and some shots with her hubby, VT.

This photoshoot, we made it very fun and tried out many things. Paik Ling was very co-operative with me when I suggested some gila shots just to kick things around :).

OK, enough of all the cerita, HERE are the shots taken on that day. My fav shot being the last one in the album, with her shocking face LOL. She’s really very expressive.

Since Faythe started to draw her aliens, she has this idea of keeping her masterpiece at one place. THE WALL!!

It all started one day when she told me she misses her Daddy. So I printed a pic of Mr. Hon and told her why not she stick it next to her bed, then she can look at the pic when she sleeps. So I gave her some blue tac (sticky plasticine) for her to stick, so that I won’t have to stain the wall with double side tapes.

Ever since then, she has started sticking all sorts of things on that wall, ranging from:

    • the digi yellow man - cut out from my phone bill :|
    • some stars - I printed for her from my scrapbook material
    • scrap paper - of which she/me drew something on it
    • photos - of her birthday with the Incredibles cake, of me, of daddy
    • kungfu panda - cutout from McD Happy Meal
    • Origami - Daddy folded a crane for her
    • Mr. Sun Craft - we did some paper crepe sticking of a Sun

And I’ve got endless request from her for blue tac. She keeps telling me she doesn’t have enough :(. Now that whole wall is full of her scrap paper, I’m trying to tell her to clean up and throw some of it to make way for new ones but she refuse to :(.

Now I wonder what’s so nice with all those paper sticking out from the wall. Does your kid do that?

Oh and what Vyktore do to these masterpieces on the wall…he’ll use his legs and kick ‘em LOL.

warning, cursing post ahead.

So remember we ordered the Cartoon Car Cake for Vyktore’s Birthday. And I mentioned in that post that I almost wanted to burn that shop down. So what actually happened?

I went to Cake Sense TTDI to place the order on Thursday (party on Sunday). I never did like this Cake Sense branch, but I place the order there cause it was more convenient.

So on Sunday evening, I went there to collect the cake, at 5pm. I didn’t check, thinking that it should be alright. When I arrived home, Cheryl was already at home and greeted me. So I put the cake down and first thing we thought, lets have a look at the cake.

The moment I open up the cake, I got a shock. Nope, not because it has 2 finger prints on top (like the LO above, that was actually left by Vyktore later on). But they gave me a wrong cake. It was a Cake covered with chocolate toppings and stated Happy Father’s Day bla bla bla….arghh…I was like how can mistake.

So instantly we rush back to TTDI to exchange for the correct 1. Cheryl got down as I couldn’t get a parking. But a few minutes passed and she didn’t return with any cake. So I double park my car and went down to check.

The worker there were struggling looking for the cake and when I questioned them, they can’t answer me. The chef was all ready to go home holding her bag. Then she told the worker, she didn’t have any order that require her to bake the cartoon car cake. I stood there waiting (by the kitchen).

And guess what, I saw the worker, carefully take out the order note from the side of the counter top. Apparently my cake order fell in between the top and wall and nobody realised it :|.

Next minute what else, I was fuming mad. The chef told me to come back at 7pm and pick up the cake. I instantly flamed her. Not only they wasted my Petrol going back and forth, now they want me come back at 7pm, just because it’s their mistake didn’t get the cake prepared!! I told them today is My Son’s 2yo birthday and party is starting at 7pm. They better make sure they can do some magic and send the cake to my house at 7pm!!

The chef instantly knew it was their fault. Hence she said OK. She’s gonna send it. Then she quickly started work. Not baking the cake, but took out a sponge cake from the fridge (already pre-bake) and start putting all the stuff together.

She requested me to draw a map for her. And I did before I left the shop in fumes.

So that was the story. You say should be angry or not? Never never go back to that branch anymore. Sucks big time. I prefer the one in Taman Megah. I’m not trying to be racist here, but sometimes when you hire foreign worker, make sure you train them properly. If not they do wrong things also they don’t know and pity your business only. That worker was still smiling at me when I left the cake shop eventhough I’m so mad at him. And he didn’t even say he’s sorry *pengsan*.

I’ve been wanting to go back to Putrajaya one fine day cause I’m very impressed with the buildings there. So finally, we made a trip there on a Saturday morning (Sue & myself). But it was a bad weather day. We arrived there close to 7am, thinking we should be able to catch sunrise, but were greeted with dark clouds :(. After a few shots at the Seri Saujana Bridge, it started raining like nobody business.

We drove heading towards Dataran Putrajaya, stop by the side and took turns to shoot the Mosque while the other person holds the umbrella. haha….so pathetic eh :P. Then we thought, no choice, lets go makan breakfast. So we headed to Precinct 7. That’s the only place I know got food.

We spent about 1 hour slowly downing the food while waiting for the rain to stop. Once it stopped, we wanted to head back to Precinct 4/5 (if not mistaken, where all the gov offices are), but took a wrong turn which came out to be a good wrong turn. We ended up at Club Putrajaya. The place was beautiful, with boats as well. And we got a nice view of the Mosque across the lake. We hung around there for quite sometime, as it was so hot by then.

Then we went back to where the gov offices were…happily shooting the buildings and half way, the dark clouds start to return (kanasai betul). We quickly wrap up our photoshoot, I think the last was the Ministry of Sports.

The moment we got into the car, it started pouring so heavy :|..Sigh…that was really a wrong day for photoshoot. Which explains why the sky is so dark and moody in the pics apart from those taken at the Putrajaya Club.

I guess we had enough of Putrajaya, well, at least for me :). Loaded the photos HERE.

Ah..Ah…Ah…

One night, while Faythe slept overnight at MIL’s house. Vyktore was back home with me. My eyes were glued to the TV watching AFC Channel. Since Vyktore weren’t interested with what I was watching, so he was basically playing by himself.

Then I took a peek and check what he was doing.

I saw him quietly sitting by the stairs, playing with the phone (one that I gave them to play since we don’t use that). He picked up the phone, then he goes..ah..ah..ahh…then nodded by himself. After that he put the phone down, he walk around as though he went shopping. Then he nodded again. And he goes back doing the same thing, ah ah ah over the phone and walk around for like umpteen times :|.

He was so into the phone that he didn’t even bother bout me taking photos on him until I called him and ask him who he was talking to. Then he shy shy don’t want to play with it anymore. Probably he was calling his GF :P.

I was so tired last night, after doing our reading session till 10am, I put the kids to sleep and I slept together with them. Nowadays, since they started school, I try to put them to sleep earlier so that they can wake up in the morning and not becoming cranky.

So I missed my night alarm, knock out totally. Then this morning I woke up, look at the clock. oh It’s 630am. I try to get up earlier these days as well, to read blogs and do whatever things, prepare the kids for school.

So here I am trying to clear my blog reading and then to find out Blogger is down arghh….why always like that. I was able to read the blogs, but couldn’t comment. Server not available. _)($_)#*$(#&$)*#$…..

So blogger folks, sorry yah….I only manage to comment some, but not all blogs as I couldn’t leave a comment…arghh…blogspot always give me this problem. Does anyone has the same prob as me?

Whenever I’m driving, Faythe will also be driving, smack right beside me. She has this lil toy which looks like a driving dashboard. All complete with steering wheels, handphone, gear and what nots.

So every evening when I pick them up, she’ll sit next to me, turn the steering and pretend she’s driving just like me. Then she’d go:

  • Mama, it’s green…lets go…
  • Mama, it’s red. Cannot move.
  • Mama, it’s green, why you not moving ? (Cars in front haven’t move how to move leh..)

Then she’d play some sound from that toy and tell me that’s her radio.

Sometimes, she’ll tell me:

  • Mama, you see this is bad people driving. (she turns the steering left and right like a drunk driver LOL)
  • Mama, this is good people driving. ( she drives with 1 hand on the steering wheel, the other hand playing the music)

Have you ever thought what stairs can be used for? Apart from bringing you from 1 level to another, I thought stairs is a great tool for exercise :). By doing the steps ;). But my kids has better idea :).

Look what they did on the stairs. Vyktore decided that it’s more comfy to lie on the steps to drink his milk. Then when Faythe saw him doing that, she followed as well. So both of them lie next to each other on the steps. Of course they only lie on the lowest steps, next to the floor…if not I wouldn’t allow and the maid sat next to them, make sure never fall off the steps.

Few weeks ago, suddenly we had the urge to go for night photoshoot. So I prompted Sue and asked if she want to go Hulu Langat Viewpoint. I’ve heard bout this place from Adeline, so we thought it’d be great to check that place out. It’s been a long time since I shoot nice shots. Probably the last was during Fireworks Competition.

I brought my 2 kids and maid along, and we followed the directions given to the Viewpoint, but still we missed a few turnings. Frankly speaking, the directions were pretty lousy LOL. We arrived at the place and the parking was almost full. Luckily manage to find an empty slot. So quickly park the car and got down.

It was near sunset, but the sky was blue and hazy :|…Gosh…and one thing I didn’t like, that Arabian Restaurant, they told us we can only be there to take pics for 10 minutes. Then we have to leave. Teruk, as though that place belongs to them. We thought we wanted to makan there, but the food was a bit pricey, so we ditch the plan and headed to the restaurant next to it.

The food served was like Wong Kok Char Chan Teng style. So so only the food. I won’t recommend you to eat there definitely :P. Not forgetting the servings were cacat, some OK, some so small :|. But the view of course is spectacular. I personally prefer the night shots than the sunset. But cause the sky is like hazy…can’t really get a clear shot :(.

We left the place at 8pm+ and stop over by the roadside for another shot where alot of cars parked there. The kids enjoyed themselves in Sue’s car and went home took a rest and slept.

A very short trip, consider OK. At last I’ve been there hehe…

I bet everyone is anxious to know what happen to the kids 1st week in school. So here’s the report card for the 1st week. So far so good :). Note, the pic above was taken at home sometime ago. Not their school uniform :P
Day 1

  • Faythe - she woke up at 8am and ask me to wake up. She can’t wait to go to school. After school when I pick her up, teacher commented that she’s very good girl and used some of the Montessori materials during the class today.
  • Vyktore - didn’t cry when we left cause we left secretly. He was OK, played and sat together with the rest of the children. He was a bit tired towards the end, but couldn’t sleep due to much distraction.

Day 2

  • Faythe - had soft boil eggs with bread for breakfast. Waived bye bye to me when I left.
  • Vyktore - cried when saw us leaving. Lasted for 30minutes. But when I went to pick them up, he refused to go home and wanted me to sit in the class O.o.

Day 3

  • Faythe - 1st time wearing the uniform, she likes it cause I told her it’s the same as other children. She probably feels proud to be the same among all the children. Teacher sent them home and she showed the teacher her dog in MIL’s house. She told me school also got Gabriel, so now she got know 2 Gabriel. 1 at home, 1 in school (at home is the cousin)
  • Vyktore cried for a while, less than 30 minutes, then he got distracted and continue playing. Ate alot when reach MIL’s house and knock off.

Day 4

  • Faythe - teacher told me in the morning, she’s very talkative LOL…memang…chatter box. She asked to hug me when I leave.
  • Vyktore - cried a few minutes then he was OK. Getting used to it. Teacher praised him for being very good boy, can play by himself, unlike other boys. Probably he hasn’t reach the interaction stage with other kids yet. He’s the youngest in the whole group. He slept on the way to MIL’s house

Day 5

  • Faythe - had fry eggs with bread, honey drink for breakfast. Again she wants a hug when I left. She’s now able to put her bag and shoes on the designated rack. Then place her snacks & tumbler on the food rack by herself. One of the teacher commented that she’s a very good sister and protective over Vyktore.
  • Vyktore - screamed so loud when we left the place. But when I went to pick them up, he didn’t wanna wear his shoes. Wanted to continue playing at the slide LOL. Teacher told me he didn’t take his milk, but ate a whole load of food :|. 2 packets of Japanese Rice biscuits (packed from home), pancakes, more biscuits from school. And he drank alot of water. Got bitten on his arm by teacher’s daughter LOL…poor boy, so young got love bite already.

So that’s week 1 report. I only prepare breakfast for Faythe as Vyktore wakes up late most of the time and he’s slow. So we just let him have his milo/milk (sometimes in car, sometimes at home), then he has his snacks in school later.

I pack extra snack for each of them, though the school provides, cause I’m worried they do not have enough. They eat non stop at home usually :|.

Progress report:

  • Faythe - I heard her singing some songs about colours & playing sand. But couldn’t decipher what was that. She made a card for Father’s Day and scribbled some lines on it. No pic of that cause she brought to MIL’s house and I don’t know where they put it.
  • Vyktore - his appetite has grown since he started school. He’s babbling more but can’t really tell what is it, actively talking about car, robot (bot), fish (ish)…that’s his all time favourite words.
