It’s time of the year again for sales. Everywhere in shopping mall, they’ve put up the Sale sign. Further reduction. But are these really the best buy you could find around? I sometimes have doubts if sale is really further reduction or just a gimmick for people to spend more. I’ve encountered shops that even markup the price prior to sale, so that even with 40% discount, it’s still not a big discount.

Have you ever thought of investing on commercial real estate? Many thinks that residential is a good buy for investment. But my thoughts are the yield for commercial is even better!! Imagine if you have shop lots of 3 storey, you can rent them to 3 different tenant. And rentals for commercial are far more better compared to residential. So in the long run, it’s actually a better choice to invest in commercial real estate.

Whoa, with the sales going on I just went shopping spree and swipe a few rounds of credit card over the weekend. I hope I don’t have to look for the best credit card deal and switch to another bank. I still remember many years ago, I actually made a switch of credit card to help do a credit transfer. It was a breeze and it really helped. I’m just glad that I don’t have to do that this round.

Ever since having kids, shopping is really secondary to me. Most of the time I end up buying things for them rather than for myself. I’ve also resort to online trading to purchase items instead of going to shopping mall to avoid the hassle. I find that it safes alot of time purchasing stuff online. The only problem is the size might not be right and you have to pay a bit extra for the shipping.

That’s what Vyktore says each time we go up the bed. He will lie down and put his legs under the comforter. Then he will try to pull the heavy comforter and tell me: Ide Ide…Ide..

He actually wants to play hide n seek. I introduced him this game one night and he got addicted. He loves it when both of us hide under the comforter. He will keep himself still under the comforter and wait.

Then Faythe will pretend to be the monster and come to the bedside. Then she’ll flip open the comforter and Vyktore will get up and scream in joy. Then he will laugh and laugh and dance around the bed.

And the stint repeats itself for many many times.

Sometimes I’ll be the one hiding. I’ll go hide in our bathroom (behind the shower screen). Then they can’t find me, they’ll open the door and look around the house then I come out from behind and call them. They got so thrilled and excited.

Can’t remember when was the last time I posted up some food on my blog, so lets get ready your bib ;).

The restaurant name is call Bruno’s.

Located at Jaya 33. It’s on the ground floor, facing mainroad. It’s really at one corner, so you gotta look properly :P. If Coffeebean/Starbucks is on your left, turn to right, walk straight to the end.

We were there with another couple friend. This is a non-halal join. They serve dishes mainly comes with porker. Of course they have other stuff too. Apparently it’s even better than the other porker joint in Bukit Bintang area (can’t remember the name).

2. Pork chop with roasted veg - this is a steal!!
3. Lamb shank - so tender and just nice
4. Pork ribs served with veg and salads - this is not bad but cost the bomb on the bill
5. Pork belly spaghetti - fattening but still have to eat LOL

I don’t mind going back here again definitely, but probably minus the one that cost a bomb pork ribs.

Sometimes while playing masak masak, Faythe would walk up to me and take orders.

Faythe: mama, what you want to eat?
Mommy: ermm…I want potatoes….
Faythe: I don’t have potatoes…
Mommy: I want..tomato..
Faythe: But I don’t have…order something else..
Mommy: LOL..why everything don’t have one..What do you have?
Faythe: I got eggs, I got choi (vegetables), I got tungku (mushroom), I got sausage..bla bla bla…
Mommy: OK Lah, give me eggs & tung ku
Faythe: OK…she scribble some lines on her lil notebook and went away..

Faythe: Mama, here’s your food…
Mommy: Oh thanks…and what about drinks?
Faythe: Oh..what drink you want?
Mommy: Hmm..I want tea..
Faythe: OK, she went and get me tea.

While I was busy doing my work…

I gave Vyktore his bottle of milk before he sleeps…

So I left him on the sofa to drink his milk…

Usually he’d play and drink his milk slowly.

So I didn’t bother checking on him.

But after a while, he was pretty quiet…so I turn around and guess what…

.

.

.

Yes…he fell asleep while drinking milk!!

I couldn’t help but laugh because of the position he’s at.

Even after I remove the milk bottle from him, his hand is still in the same pose…LOL..

Then he moved a bit and cry out loud..cause he realised the bottle is missing. Then I patted him, and he slept again.

Faythe likes to engage in silly play sometimes. Instead of playing with her masak masak properly. She will use her masak masak to do other stuff.

The other day, she placed donuts on her eyes and walk around:

Faythe: Mama, you see…I got donut eyes
Mommy: rolls eyes & snap her photo

Faythe: Mama, you see…now I have pizza eyes (places 2 pieces of pizza on her eyes)
Mommy: roll eyes & laugh…

If you think my house is always peaceful n quiet, my 2 kids play together very well…think again :P.

Having 2 toddlers with a not so big gap, they love to play with each other and they love to compete within each other.

Faythe says:
Mommy, ah boy take my book….
Mommy, ah boy step on my leg….
*Screams*, Mommy, ah boy drink my milo!!
Mommy, ah boy spoil my toys…
Mommy, ah boy wet the bed (he loves to leave drool marks on the bed)
Mommy, ah boy sit on me..
Mommy, ah boy bulldoze head butt me…

Vyktore says:
*Screams*….Faythe takes his toys…
*Screams*….Faythe snatch his toys…
*Screams*….Faythe took his book…
*Screams*….Faythe didn’t let him eat the snacks…
*Screams*…Faythe refuse to share bath toys with him…

Mommy says:
Vyktore, why you sit on Jie JIe…cannot!! Go sayang Jie JIe…
It’s ok Faythe, you go read another book…
Vyktore, why you spoil Jie Jie’s toys…naughty boy..hmmm…
Faythe, give him back his toys..now!!

Mommy not gila yet, but being a referee within the 2 is tough. Moreover Daddy is not around most of the time. Sometimes I’ll just ignore them and nod my head. Sometimes I’ll just say, OK…and distract them away. But sometimes I just have to laugh cause they are so drama LOL.

I know that sometimes Vyktore is just seeking attention. He’d go screaming and look at me. If I pretend I didn’t see, he will walk closer to me and scream, and closer and closer. Till he beh tahan (cause I still pretend I didn’t see) he’s use his hand and hold my head and look at him and scream LOL.
