Sorry, went MIA for sometime. Was busy rushing out photos for our customers over at TwoPixels.

Right before the 1 week break, the kids had their TJC sports day in Yuk Chai Primary School. I was all excited as this is the 1st ever sports day for both my children. Anxious, whether they know what to do, worried if they’d cry if they see me at the parents tent. Basically all sorts of feeling.

Faythe knew what she had to do as she has been practicing that for 2 weeks. She told me briefly at home that she has to catch a fish. Then balance herself by walking slowly, then feed the fish to the shark and run back.

Vyktore, as usual, he doesn’t know what’s happening.

On the day itself, I prepared sausages for both of their class as per request from the teacher. The weather looked cloudy and I was pretty worried that it’s gonna rain.

Vyktore didn’t want to go to school at first, but when we reach a different *school* he started to warm up. I left both of them at the children’s tent and headed to parents tent. Since I was late, I didn’t really get a good seat.

Then I left my stuff with my brother, and I went to take some shots of them prior to the event.

The day started with 6yo students marching out. Then followed by 5yo, 4yo & 3yo. They all look so cute, marching out, waving at the parents tent. Faythe spotted me, but not Vyktore though I did call out to both of them.

Then there were speeches given by pastor, principle & CES’ director before they flag off the start of sports day.

Faythe’s event was 4th. I sat at the line from far and took photos of her waiting for the event to begin. Thank god I borrowed a zoom lense from my friend, it was really helpful. I didn’t have to runaround, just sit at 1 side and I manage to zoom in close to take some shots.

She was so cool walking after catching the fish. Balancing herself very well. Then drop the fish into the shark’s mouth. Then she ran as fast as she could, like Dash (of Incredibles). I told her to run fast so that she can finish fast LOL.

Her team came in 3rd overall.

After that it was Vyktore’s turn (or was it he first then Faythe, can’t remember). They were suppose to hop on the hoola hoop then collect 2 rings, run and go around then come back with the rings. Pretty easy, they even cut short the route for the 3yo.

Nevertheless, this boy of mine is pretty blur. So there was a teacher standing next to him to tell him what to do. If not, I bet he’d run all over the place haha…..

His team came in 2nd overall.

It started raining when the prize giving ceremony started. So they had to present the prize at the children’s tent.

The whole event ended by 12pm and it rained quite heavily when we got into our car.

I must appraise the teachers for organising this event. It was really successful. They even had games for parents. They gave medals for 1st, 2nd & 3rd runner up. 4th had some parcel like gift (not sure what’s that). Then each kid is also given a party pack too :).

That’s all for the day. I think I’m more tired than them for the sports day…

The other day my vendor told me that some of the barcode sticker which was provided by China didn’t print out well. We checked and took a look at the photos they sent to us. Seriously, I think it’s time to upgrade the barcode printer. I’m very sure if we use a barcode scanner to read those stickers, chances are 90% of them would fail.

I took leave on 3rd Aug as we were supposed to be in Penang, but due to detour from Penang to PD, we had 3rd August free. I decded not to cancel my leave since I still have tonnes to clear.

So we thought it’s time to bring them to Aquaria KLCC. We wanted to take the LRT at first, but due to H1N1 spreading rampantly, we’ve decided to drive instead. One whole car load as usual. My SIL & nephew followed us too.

Frankly speaking, I’m not really pleased with Aquaria KLCC, not only it’s expensive, but the varieties of sea creatures there are pretty limited. Personally I prefer Underwater World in Langkawi.

For the kids, they were more than thrilled to see all the sea creatures come to life so near to them.

Vyktore didn’t like the place at first and wanted to go “kai kai” and kept pulling my hands away. But when the Shark Feeding started, he just sat there, mesmerised by his favourite animal, shark O.o.

There were baby sharks, some lobsters & starfishes on exhibition where they allow you to interact with them closely. Daddy went to touch the baby shark. I touched the star fish (so hard like rock!!)

This post is specially for Daddy (he’s the one chasing me everyday when he can see the photos O.o).

We went to PD earlier this month. Yes!! AGAIN!!! We were supposed to go Penang, but at the very last minute, there were change of plans and Daddy feels that PD would be better, because there’s a bike expo in PD that weekend.

Since it was soo soo last minute, we didn’t even manage to book an apartment from our timeshare. So we did a day trip instead.

Daddy rode his bike down to PD with his biker friend, while the rest of us drove down (I’m the driver as usual).

The event was held at Eagle Ranch, a place I’ve been few years back when my office had team building.

After we left the expo, we went to have seafood and it was raining cats n dogs. We waited for a while till the rain stopped, then we went to the beach for some beach fun. This round Vyktore refuse to get wet and he was protesting in this picture when Daddy dragged him into the sea LOL.

I’ve not been putting down diligently Faythe’s lil coversations with us since many many moons ago. So this is gonna be a long one. I usually store these conversations as draft, but never had a chance to publish them.

Being a 4.5 yrs old, she’s ever so talkative & at times challenging you with her wittiness. Sometimes we’d just go speechless with her sense of bluntness and innocent.

While I was bathing her the other day…
Mommy: oh no, how come there’s a red bump on you, who bit you?
Faythe: Mosquito.
Mommy: Oh, why do you think mosquito bit you?
Faythe: You know the mosquito likes to bite me cause I’m all honey & sugar & everything sweet inside my blood. That’s why they like me.
Mommy: O.o

Some guest came to MIL’s house and commented that she doesn’t talk, she tried defending herself…

Faythe: Mama (sounded like pretty fedup after nagging so many times), you are not supposed to talk on the phone while you driving!! Afterwards police catch you

One morning when she woke up…

During shopping…
Faythe: Mommy, lets go here and see…

Faythe: No buy, see only..see only..(but see see a few times, then end up buying and got conned O.o)

One night while we were sleeping…
Faythe: *Knocking our door* HELP ME HELP ME!!
Daddy: *thought what happen* (Opens our room’s door) What happen Faythe?
Faythe: Help me Daddy, help me!! My nose is bleeding HELP ME!!!

She refused to clean her toys one night, but I reprimanded her to stay upstairs till she finish cleaning. After a while she came downstairs…
Mommy: So have you finished cleaning up all your toys?
Faythe: Yes…
Mommy: Good. That’s my girl.
Faythe: No Mommy, not good. You must say EXCELLENT
Mommy: O.o. Who tell you that?
Faythe: My teacher in school say excellent, it’s better than good
Mommy: *fainted* I need to be a teacher soon to counter back all her words

Everyone is so hyped out about the Iphone. Sometimes I wonder is it that great? Afterall it’s just a phone with additional features and bigger screen. But I do envy those that owns 1. I’m never a gadget geek though I did once owned a PDA phone. I got quite fedup using it after sometime. But probably ipods is something worth having. It functions just like a PDA minus the phone part. Must ask my brother to borrow me his Ipod for testing.

Many years ago, when I was still working in construction line I’ve heard about how asbestos material which are commonly used for ceiling are hazardous. Apparently this material, if inhaled long term, will cause cancer. How true is that, well, if you search the internet I’m sure you’d find many resources link to this. I found a pretty good article on Asbestos legislation in USA while I was surfing. So this is actually true and there are many cases where patients sue the Asbestos company for compensation.

Few days back, I found my ring’s receipt downstairs on the console. It hit on to me instantly that Faythe must have been playing with my ring box. I asked her where she put, she couldn’t remember. I got pretty frustrated, as it’s a new ring that Daddy bought recently. Hence the maid went to search for it and thank god we found it after a few minutes. Lucky there weren’t any loose diamonds in it, just the receipt, if not, I guess my maid would be so happy picking up diamonds every now and then when she cleans the house.

It’s been a long time ever since my last trip out of country. I do wish that I’m going on holiday soon. Actually, I’m supposed to go taiwan this end of the month, but looking at the things that’s happening around me, I doubt the trip is gonna be successful. I’ve already made up my mind to cancel the ticket. Probably I should start planning my trip for next year instead. Want to go somewhere further, probably an orlando vacations would be great. Then again, we are dead sure we’d miss the kids, since it’s so far and we would probably want to be away for at least 2 weeks.

I was watching the TV the other day with the kids. Somehow I noticed something strange happened. The TV went darker for a while. All the images turned darker. At first I thought it was my eyes. Then after a while, it went back to normal colours again. I think the TV is showing signs of retiring. I recall our last TV, when it was about to retire, the human on the screen started to look greenish and orangy instead of skin colour LOL. Looks like we gotta visit the electronics shop soon.
