It’s Labour Day!!! And we have a blogger gathering!!! Yes, another one LOL. But not so Mega, cause the initiator n organiser, Jessie, she told me she didn’t know many mommy bloggers around, so she ask me help advertise. But sorry lah, too busy, so only advertise as my MSN id. There wasn’t much response and I thought we were about to cancel when LaundryAmah msg me on Monday morning and ask if the gathering is on. OK, so since there’s 3 family, yes it’s on!!!
We decided to make it in the morning despite the scorching sun for fear that evening will rain. Amah went to Ikea bought the big big umbrella hehe…and we had a mini pot luck (everyone made effort to cook up a storm except ME, who is not a very good cook, brought only nuggets & sausages).
Since all of us coming from diff direction (me & Cheryl the furthest), we met at the Banting Projet Petrol Station and it took us bout 45mins to reach there. The weather was lovely, so windy and wasn’t too hot when we arrived. Quickly roll out mats on the cement, lay the food, start chomping & camwhoring then the kids proceeded to the beach. The beach was so so long due to low tide, great for kids to have fun, pretty safe.
Our coastguard, LaundryApah was there watching the kids while the rest of the parents & non parent eat. After that we took turns to look after the kids and camwhore as well haha…
We left the place @ 1+ as it was getting real hot and kids were pretty tired. Faythe was so hungry after the sand playing session, she grabbed the sausage as soon as she came up!!! She finished so many sausages & nuggets & drank 2 boxes of ribena. Vyktore had his milk earlier, so we gave him some water and other edible food but he wasn’t very interested, he’s sleepy haha…
The kids slept all the way back home. A good outing for all of us, I won’t mind going there again, but this time gotta get more big umbrella :). Who wants to join us next round?
I got sunburn over at my neck, both arms and cheeks. Now look like a lobster hahaha..
p/s: we did the coke + mentos experiment hehe…post the pic later, it was so cool hahahaha…

eh.. I thought it was cancelled? Hijackqueen told me about it but when I asked her she said cancelled liao.
I went as well, but in the evening.. high tide liao.. nothing to do. 🙁

Look like you all have fun there. We been there 2 years ago, the weather not so hot but we still get sunburn except my kids. Hope next round can join you all 🙂
I got sunburn too, behind my neck… Next time, maybe we can go abit ealry… so, can have longer time there without hot sun …..
