We went for a 2 hour vacation on Saturday. The place. FRIM, Kepong. Daddy wanted to go there few weeks back, but we didn’t have time for it. So this time round we planned for a mini picnic too, with Cheryl, since we had sleep over party last night. Daddy arrived from Dubai this morning, 9+. When he got home, shower and we quickly pack load all the stuff into our car and off we go. We didn’t prepare alot of food to eat, unlike Singapore Picnic Trip LOL…we only prepared 1 haha…how lazy eh :P.
Leaving our house took us like 30mins, thanks to a car that broke down on that 2 lane traffic :|. And on the way to Kepong, there were slight jam too. We arrived there like 1pm+. This the first time I’m there. That place is huge, and thank goodness we can drive all the way in. If you ask me to walk, sorry ler.
We walked quite far to get a nice waterfall spot…somewhere which is not too deep for the kids and they can play some water..and still there’s mini mini waterfall. Faythe didn’t quite like it when we first arrived. She refused to go down, but after a while, she warmed up and just love the water. She can even climb here n there.
As for Vyktore, the first timer…he didn’t like it. The water was cold one thing…he probably don’t feel secured. So he cling on to myself and the maid most of the time. You can see his face in the scrap…totally unhappy LOL.
At the same time, we gobbled down our food (I’ll blog bout the food in a separate post) since we were all so hungry walking up those steps to the waterfall. Though it was 1pm, it wasn’t hot at all. Thanks to the shady trees.
After 1hour +, we decided to leave the waterfall and head for the greens instead. We found a spot where there wasn’t anyone…and it’s quite nice with shaded trees. Laid our huge bamboo mat there…and had some bubble fun.
I promised Faythe we will have bubble during picnic. She even reminded me to bring the orange bubble bottle and the stick for blowing…hahaa…
Vyktore of course enjoys bubble chasing more than anything haha…..at last he can romp around freely. At times when he’s slow, he even crawled on the grass.
We didn’t stay there for long, cause everyone was getting tired. So we left there at 3pm+.
Tired but fun trip. So where’s next trip to?
Wow, so nice of daddy… so tired but still took time to spend with his family. Wow… got waterfall some more….. hv read so much about FRIM, must really make a trip there one day.

Wah got waterfall somemore, will call 1+2dad bring us go there picnic. It look like a great outing place to hang around.

Ahhh…..FRIM is a nice place…i’ve been there too, before Ashley came 😀 Were there many pesky mosquitoes?
Wow! Always heard people to say go FRIM to take wedding photo but so far still no chance for me to go yet! I think must plan and bring my son to go as well since so many people says is a nice place!
My husband has also been saying he wants to bring the girls there.. but I’m very worried about the heat!
Btw, the water fall didn’t dry up? Once I went, it was all dried.

wah so geng one ur hubby, after a long flight back still got energy to go picnic and jungle walk? i remember the last time i went there were so many leeches i screamed and jumped up n down non stop and the best part…didn’t get bitten!

Great to bring children back to nature, admiring the trees, waterfall and forest. I miss FRIM, used to spend my holidays there when I was young.
Hahaha.. yeah yeah.. the pic of Vyktore was sooo farnee. But frankly I think the waterfall water may real be a lil too cold for children la.. 😀
