To go or no go? I’ve longed to watch this, but I never did decide if I want to go or not..reason being that when I first find out about Snow Wolf Lake, it was thru Philip, he went to watch the play in Singapore…came back told me, hey must go lah. I was like, hmm OK…if I can get the ticket. I’m an ardent fan of Jacky Cheung, went to watch his concert twice with Faythe’s godmother (that was *hang fong lin*) hahaha..we even bumped into our add maths teacher when we were there :).
So the search started…Galaxy website showed that cheapest ticket sold out…2nd cheapest also sold out!!! Started swearing liao @)#@#+_@)#…A friend told me that, it was already sold out since they open booking for 2 days!!! More cursing (#)@(#()@#…Then I saw the seating plan, wah why got Digi Priority one…Being a loyal *ahemmm* Digi customer (frankly speaking, Digi has not given me any good benefits so far), I call Digi up to check out on the ticket availability. The call center folks told me that, they also not sure when it will be available, but they will announce come this Oct.
OK, so mind set, money ready…lets go grab the cheapest ticket when Digi make the announcement. Two days before I went to PD, I heard on the radio about some counter in Sg. Wang…some ticket..Snow Wolf Lake….bla bla bla..what to do, I’m a banana, so out of the whole advertisement, I could only catch half of it, but was brilliant enough to grab the phone number hahaha…Went back to office, ring them up and asked for details:
Ticket counter open: 12pm
Day: 1st Oct 2005, Saturday
Availability: First come first serve, RM140 ticket onwards for sale
Discounts: 10% for digi customer ONLY
Gimmick: You need to present a WORKABLE Digi number (they have ways to verify) when you purchase the tickets, and one number is entitled to 2 tickets.
Extra tips: If you want to get tickets, better be early, suggest to start line up at 9am!!
Alamak…when I heard the 9am, my heart almost fell out of position…You want me to stand there lining up for 3 hours!!! What is this world coming up to!! Scramble for phone number, I’ve got 3 digi numbers, so can actually buy 6 tickets, but I doubt Daddy would let me have his phone for 3 hours and he’s on standby, so only left 2 numbers…But still I have not decide to go get the tickets, cause it’s really a crazy idea to go line up at 9am when the counter is only opening at 12pm…Beep boop beep boop..can’t decide.
Then I remembered my tag, one of the things I could do, is go to this play…..But I was still pretty hesitant..even right up till Saturday morning, I was still beep boop beep boop if I should go or not. In the end I decide, OK, why not give a try, if I arrive there, lots of ppl, maybe forget bout it, if I’m very early, hey that’s good news.
So off I went, packed a book and water with me haha..Arrived there and park my car, it was only 830am. But when I went to the councourse level…alamak…2 fellas already there, after confirming they are lining up, me the kiasu woman-cum-mother-cum-die-hard-fan also line up behind them. Then a guy came and approach us, are you all lining up for the ticket purchase? Yep we are!! OK, make sure ur phone is working hoh, or else you can’t buy the ticket. Found out that he’s from Galaxy.

At 9am, the queue started to get longer…by 930, I couldn’t see the end of the line…it was like near delifrance?? Whoaa…overwelming. Then the Galaxy fellas started setting up booth, and all. Then he came to us for verification, those with active number (key in *128# dial) will get into the line where they’ve arranged and given 2 yellow slips to fill up…with the yellow slip means you are entitled for the ticket.
Wah getting excited liao kekeke…so close to getting the tickets. Chatted with some of the folks there, they even told me that in Taiwan, those fellas line up and camp overnite or few days to get the tickets…Madness…so Malaysia is still very much under control.Around 11+…the 98.8 DJ came to entertain us…after some talk about the play, the promo and all…she announced some good news..YES!! Very good news. To show their appreciation, they’ve decide to reward the first 3 whom line up with some gift pack. No lah, not Digi prepaid pack, who would want that hahaha….It’s a set of free disc (2 disc) of the Snow Wolf Lake songs recorded life plus a booklet about the play with some photos and cast list…they selling that for RM90 & RM50 respectively. Wahhh…means I actually got my ticket for free if it’s like that…nyek nyek nyek…now I know why I went there so early.
Tickets were selling like hot cakes..some whom line up didn’t manage to get the cheap ticket, they went to the other side and line up for the RM390 tickets!!
So at 1154am, I finally got my 4 tickets, 1 for myself, 1 for Adeline, 2 for Sifu Poh + GF…got discount of 10% so overall I paid RM126 per ticket, with the free gifts…”tai tou lan” lerrrr…hehe “tai sau wok” for the day, went home contended and had lunch with Adeline on the way home, scrumptious Curry Wan Tan Noodles at Jalan Batai…slurp slurppp…so satisfied…Went home look at the details, found that we got pretty good seats (wasn’t allowed to choose during the purchase)..pheww!!!!
