Christmas Carolling

Faythe Household
This is really backdated post. But since it’s the first year we have carolling in our new home, I’m blogging this. It’s also first time Faythe has her diarrhea :(.
Daddy managed to book the carolers from GA (our church) to perform a sesssion of carolling on 18th Dec. Hence, we invited a few friends and family members. But we only manage to get the carolers at a very last minute, we ended up getting the last session, 11pm!!!
The day started with Faythe not feeling very well, a bit of diarrhea and slight fever. In fact, Daddy & Mommy just recovered from diarrhea!!! I was very busy that day, to do some last minute shopping and collect the cake from Swee in Subang. Daddy stayed at home to take care of Faythe and gave her apple to eat!!!
Daddy cook a feast of pasta :). We had salted egg yolk, capsicum, olive and buttom mushroom pasta. Secret recipe from Daddy. It sounds weird, especially the salted egg part, but it definitely blends in well. Mommy prepared salad for the guest. We also bought some ducks, to go with the wine and beer. As for drinks, we prepared beer, wine and packet drinks. Mommy also ordered a cake from Swee, Redbean Cheese Cake. It was yummy, and everyone said it’s something special hehehe.
We even had a clown in the house hahaha…Daddy’s sister, came over after her performance in church :P.
We waited for a while until Faythe even fell asleep. Even Mommy was sleepy, luckily Alex’s wife was around to chit chat with Mommy. At last around 1030pm, the carolers came. Faythe woke up for the carolers too. There were 20 odd of them, very big group. All dressed in white top and black bottom. Everyone enjoyed the songs they sang.
It was about 1130pm when carolers finally left. Mommy was dead tired too. Faythe and myself hit the sack and left daddy to entertain the remaining guest. Lets hope next year we have another caroling session, minus the diarrhea.

  2. X’mas is really a joyful day for all the Christian. I didn’t know what is carolling before reading your post. 🙂

Diarrhea which is cause by viral infection or food poisoning is contagious, it can pass around. Maybe Faythe got the virus from daddy and mummy? We had diarrhea too after YChing recovered from her diarrhea last time.

Ya, nothing much can be done except to watch out for dehydration.

  3. Wah, got carolers to perform for u lot, how nice and lucky. I once joined a group too (way back during my days in college and for the fun of it) and I really enjoyed myself. Going from houses to houses and sang our hearts out. We had our rewards too – all kinds of food. No doubt it was fun but it was really tiring too.

So, u all must have enjoyed very much lor.

Aiyo yo, too bad Faythe had diarrhoea.
