More backdated stuff..lets hope this is one of the last :).
Daddy used to be in the event mgmt biz (that was before he joined the existing co.). One one of those the events, there were surplus of glowsticks, so he took it back home. Three tubes of it..and he’s been keeping them like *my precioussss*. He don’t allow me to play with them, only sometimes he will give me a few sticks..
One saturday, dunno what struck him, he decided to take out all the glowstick and activate it..I think because most of it has expired and can’t glow anymore.
As usual I was about to put Vyktore to sleep. And Faythe jumping around the bed. I dimmed the lights so that Vyktore can sleep better. Daddy came in with a fistful of glowsticks!! Yes…he took out all of it and showed to Faythe. Then he activated all of them at one go by twisting it…Faythe was amazed!!
Daddy went ahead to off the lights…and we had a glowstick party in the room hahaha…It’s like Star Wars Light Saber..green, red, yellow….wooo…Then daddy used some connectors to make into bangles and necklace for Faythe to wear.
Faythe was very happy and keep on waiving the sticks. Vyktore was asleep. It was pretty fun at first, but after a while, I got dizzy…I can’t stand neon colours!! But Faythe still wanted to play with the sticks…Didn’t want to dissapoint her, I allow her to put the sticks (only a few) next to the bed where she sleeps…the rest I hid under the bed..then she can watch the sticks while falling asleep..and I don’t have to look at them as well…I was getting wayyyy to dizzy…Fun for Faythe, dizzy for Mommy :(.
wah wah wah… so many at one go? must be fun… I love those glow in dark sticks also…. but then like u say, oni initially lar, after a while, get sien liao… hahaha
does Faythe gets dissapointed the next day when the stick doesn’t glow anymore??
Oh, I like that! kids like to play them in the dark room with the lights off. It’s fun!

Those glow sticks does have an expiry date on them. After awhile, it wont work anymore or it stayed glow for few minutes only. Usually can stay on for at least few hours.
Good to have so many glowsticks, sure very nice scene LOL!

ayo…glowsticks…reminds me of concerts! long time didn’t go ledi…
wah…. we have lots of those during the New Year event in Genting… but true lor, the glow will go off after a while…
You didn’t take a photo of the glowing w/out flash? That’ll probably make us all dizzy.
