So we left Macau on 27th Dec early morning. Took a ferry to go over to HK. I didn’t take any photos on the ferry cause I get seasick, was trying very hard to sleep but couldn’t grrrr…cause someone was snoring so loud!! (Not daddy, but another man seating nearby).
We arrived at HK Sheungwan at 8am. Looking at the amount of people at the MTR station is a real scare!! People from all walks of life, rushing from one end to the other. They are all walking like soldiers going to work…I’m amazed :P.

We took the MTR to Lantau Island, stopping near the Chek Lap Kok Airport. We went to Cathay Pacific City, as Daddy gotta settle somethings there. See the photos on the 2nd row…very familiar rite. Yes!!! It’s the place where they filmed *Triumph to the Skies*, that famous pilot TVB series. While waiting for Daddy, I just sat at the office, admiring the place..and of course trying to remember some of the scenes in the TV series LOL.
We left Cathay Pacific City close to 10am, head towards another MTR station (can’t recall the name). There was a shopping complex there with many OUTLETS. Yes!! OUTLETS, means the things they sell are cheaper. So we decide to look around since we are there. But I was so so so tired..just couldn’t walk cause I only slept 3 hours the nite before (packing for Daddy grrrr). So I went to KFC, sat down, and slept…Daddy went walking around, 1 hour later he came back. Telling me about all the shops and urging me to walk…We drank ABC soup from KFC..ya wohh..their KFC has ABC Soup, and tasted so good hahha…Then OK lah, I decided to take a walk. Went into Esprit Outlet, look at the clothes then saw the price. WOW WOW!!! So cheap!!! Yeah, it was really cheap, like RM30+ can get an office shirt. Then I saw this dress which was pretty nice as well, only for RM50 lah…but no more size grrr..Anyway, I bought the shirt, since it was so cheap.
We went to Samsonite Outlet as well, and bought a Samsonite sling pouch for RM50 (cheap huh). Then we went Giordano Outlet, and Daddy bought some stuff from there too. We didn’t do much in HK, took our lunch at one of the restaurant. Then we head straight to Shenzen.

We were supposed to stay in hotel and meet up Hui Sia & family for dinner. But Hui Sia was really kind to offer us a nite stay at her place. This the first time I’m meeting her though I’ve known her since my first pregnancy. My first impression when I saw her…wahh..why Hui Sia so tall one :P. She’s taller than me!!! (I’m not short too, about 5’6″). We quickly settle down at her place, by then it was already 6pm+. We went for dinner thereafter at a nearby restaurant, and my goshh…we ordered so much food. After dinner, we walk around the housing area..and we saw this huge Electrical cable, just at the road side..aiyo, that’s so dangerous!!!

Since we have nothing much to do, we went for *wash leg*. That’s massage in another word. Dip our legs in very hot water and steam the leg. After that change to another pail of water with herbs. After that, they will wash our legs. Then start the massage. Very relaxing, I almost fell asleep hehehe…
Next day, we went for dim sum breakfast at the same restaurant we had dinner. And our next destination is Window of the World. This is one of the place where the Internet review says must go!! So go lorr..This is the place where you can find all the wonders of the world, buildings of the world in this whole place!! It consist of miniature buildings, as well as life size Eiffel Tower.
The entrance of Window of the World, Louvre…I think it’s 1:1, not miniature. And they have many other things at the entrance, dunno what’s that lah. It cost us RMB60 for entrance, cheap for such a big place.
OK and here are the pics of the many places around the world that we covered in 1 day!! Superb ehh..1 day around the world hahaha…But we missed leaning tower of Pisa, couldn’t find it lehh..we also missed Merlion of Singapore (nvm, saw real one liao). And there’s no Landmark from Malaysia (shame shame). I think when they build this place, the KLCC wasn’t up yet, or else we could have found a miniature KLCC here hehehe…

- The statue very cold, we decided to borrow him our jacket hehe…
- Took a photo with the iron horse (dunno what country is that).
- Look at the miniature Roman Amphitheatre.

- Me next to Sydney Opera House (it’s a miniature).
- That’s Paris Eiffel Tower and some other building (we suspect London).
- That’s me, sitting on one of the miniature in Italy.

- Daddy in France (arch de triomphe). This is very detail copy, they even have all the names carved on the arch itself!!!
- Daddy at some ermm..don’t know what, but in Greece.
- Daddy pretending to catch crocs @ Africa Safari.
- Stonehenge I think.
- Daddy pretending to be a dragon LOL..this was at the dinasour park.
- Some statue of kids drinking milk from a dog!!!

- Me *pok mung* at the statue kekeke.
- Me @ one of the winter house.
- Me at Holland, windmills and tulips.
- Me at Eiffel Tower..it’s very huge, I think 1/2 the size of Eiffel Tower (that’s what Daddy claims, as he has been to the real one before).
- Johann Strauss statue also have!!
- This one don’t know what is that.

- Another shot at some landmark in US (don’t know the name again :P)
- Daddy taking pics with Gorilla hahaha…Looks like one species huh
- Daddy at NZ Maori tent.
- Another statue needs our clothing. If not mistaken this one is some scholar statue.
- Daddy with fake Sakura flowers in Japan.
- Daddy at the Italian Church.
OK, that’s the end of the Window of the World. We spend whole day there and left the place at about 4pm. We head back to Hui Sia’s house, pack our stuff and head to the bus station. Got ourselves ticket to Guangzhou and boarded at 6pm. It was a 2 hour journey to Guangzhou, we didn’t sleep in the bus, but chatted instead.
So do I like Shenzen? I think the 1 day trip is too short to summarize the liking. But I seriously don’t like the air there, pretty polluted :(. I don’t think I want to go back there hahaha…
Next up, 3 days in Guangzhou..shopping and food paradise. Stay tuned!!
the “window of the world” is really cool leh! can really go everywhere in just one place!
wah, huisia taller than u? I think maybe cuz her hubby EVEN taller, that’s why we couldn’t see it in the photos….
I listen to your cheap shopping OUTLETS also itchy hands… hahaha
i didn’t go window of the world last time, as hubby said all landmark thingy; so we go the other direction, The Cultural Village, more happening there, got show some more!
If whole day there, then we can go both places, too bad, it’s only half day.

I went to the Window of the World place when I was in Shenzhen a couple of years back. IT’s so funny they still have the WTC when I was there. Did you see it ?
Wah, so nice!!!! All the picture so nice! Got leng lui somemore!!!!
I went to that Windows of the World like 10 years ago! It was a nice place… like Xio-Ren-Gou (Small World). Did you catch the erupting vulcano at the end of the day? I think next to it there is another park… some Chinese Cultural thingy… about the different tribes in China… if I’m not mistaken.
Since cannot afford to travel the world, cheapest alternative is Windows of the World hor? hehehe… The Jesus statue at the top of the hill is in Rio, Brazil. 🙂
Everything seems familiar. I went there for my honeymoon…
You took so many pictures.. very nice too!
wow, you really had fun la. i am planning to go this year end too… cross my fingers ok!
Sounds fun, but I never thought of going there yet, even if hubby goes there often for business trip. Maybe I’ll go with the kids when they’re older.
I guess Shenzen is one time visit only. I been there also, lots of things to see, like you I don’t wanna go back either.
Wah, the Triumph in the Sky place…. so, how is the place? Nice kah? As for Shenzhen, I dun like it much. Reason same like u, very pollutated air. Can’t wait for the Guangzhou’s blog. More food to drool about….
Geeee, I don’t like going to Shenzhen. I can almost feel the difference when I step into Shenzhen from Hong Kong. I will only go back for the massages which is very cheap compared to any where else.
Cool place to visit. Wow, so much to see in a day, must be very tired but I think it’s well worth it.
