Vyktore 8 months

Vyktore turns 8 months today. I can’t believe how time flies, soon he will be celebrating his 1 yr old birthday!!! Didn’t do his monthly update last month as was too busy posting my China stuff. So here’s actually a 2 in 1.

Vital Stats:
2 teeth..yes it’s there!! (the lower ones)
height : 69cm
weight: 8.2kg
Dietary:
4.5 – 5 oz milk, every 3-4 hours
(he’s mixing formula and BM, morning is 1 time EBM, the rest is formula, night is BM)

1 time cereal in between feed

fruits in between feed

we tried giving him some porridge, he’s beginning to accept..so more adventure stuff coming on :). But I must admit he’s a smaller eater compared to Faythe last time.

when we have dinner, he also likes to have his share. I’ll give him a few grains of rice to keep him happy for now.

Development:
Grabs everything that comes along

Crawls pretty fast now, though not on all 4, his commando crawl is very fast haha…

Can sit without support, but not from crawling to sitting by himself

He recognises most of the family member and the maid, whenever he sees us, he will laugh and try to sprint himself (like what you see in the pic here)

Able to pull himself half way not fully, he will be on his knees.

Enjoys:
Laughing and giggling – he gets tickle very easily, especially when we do silly looks..he will laugh and laugh non stop. I’ve got so many of his video, laughing at our funny antics.

Boxing and punching – whenever we carry him, he loves to punch his fist on us..ouchh!! Faythe says, “didi massage Mommy”

Babbling – he loves coo-ing and babbling especially with Faythe.

Bathing – he likes to sit it the tub, and splash all the water out..that’s why I’ve introduced him with the pool session..he enjoys it much more than Faythe.

Upside down – this is very funny, he likes to see things upside down. Tilting his head all the way up and try to look from there. And sometimes while looking, he can fall asleep.

Wheels on the bus – he’s starting very young. He’s already watching Wheels on the Bus and loves it. Whenever we put that on, he will just watch quietly, no complains at all. Faythe only started watching after 13 months!!

Dislikes:
Loud noises – he gets annoyed when Daddy suddenly speak loudly. He thinks that someone is scolding him, and he would cry out loud.

In the cot – he doesn’t like staying in the cot. Anything less than 15 mins is OK, more than that, he’ll start crying and show us the pitiful look..but if we leave him there don’t bother bout it, sometimes he will stop, sometimes he won’t.

Side notes: my poor boy, ever since he can roll pretty well, he has had 2 fall in MIL’s house. rolled off the bed, even with the pillow at the side!! Lucky thing his head is very very hard.
