Today I was supposed to work from home. I told my boss I’m going to work from home. And I’ve already planned to get some stuff settled (finish some reports).
So I happily sent the kids to MIL’s. Then head home and login to VPN. And happily doing my work, replying emails…while chatting with Hui Sia…
Then suddenly, it went pooff…My laptop screen flickered and the battery kicked in. My PC at the side just went off…and my fan went off too…
Aiks…why no electricity one. I didn’t hear the power trip. Then I think think…shiakss…suddenly I recall the TNB suppose to upgrade the dunno what today. We received the notice few days back, but I totally forgot it’s today…arghh….
Gosh..so I rush back to office and do my work lah…no more work from home plan.
I’m very honest one lah…if house no electricity, can’t login VPN, means kenot do work, so it’s a No No. Unlike some people, which I don’t wanna say who lah..cause I dunno who also haha..say work from home, the IM never turn on…emails never reply….don’t know work from home or sleep from home *bleak*.
Then all my colleagues like so shocked to see me, why I’m in office..so I told them this silly story :P.
Next time must keep a generator at home., for situations like this. 😛
