Here’s for Vyktore.

English Name: Vyktore
Name given by Daddy also. We took so long to decide cause he keeps getting name that sounds so yuckie with the Hon surname. Another conceptual name. Victory.
Â
The twist: He change the I to Y, and added a E. That’s how we arrived at the Russian like Name.
Chinese Name: Ming Kuok
Again, we relied on our sifu to get us the name. Don’t get me wrong, he’s not that old, he’s only 3 yrs older than me OK!!! He gave us 15 names to select!! Wah liao eh…each one with 5 combination. Both myself and sifu wanted the name, Ming Feng (meaning fire on top of the hill), but Daddy didn’t like it…grrr……
So we ended up choosing Ming Kuok. Since no one objected, we just go ahead with it. The actual spelling is actually Ming Guo, but we changed it to Kuok (like Robert Kuok), maintaining the writing in Mandarin. Cause I thought that Guo sounds a bit ah beng hahah…(sorry if I offend anyone)
It means famous country named (Hon) – the surname.
I know there’s a meaning behind, but didn’t get to ask Sifu bout it, cause he’s too busy :(.
Nevertheless, a nice name.
Malay Language meaning: Berjaya (succeed)
Hence completes the meaning, with Faith you will be Victorious. Percaya, Berjaya (I can’t believe that it actually turned out like this!!!)
