How I Withdraw my Paypal Money

OK, alot of people has been using various method to withdraw money via Paypal. Simply because our RM is not recognised :(. But I guess it’s good oso, cause it’s non taxable LOL..*evil grin*. The 3 most common paypal money usage:

1. VMI Card – virtual money card…you can use this as ATM withdraw in local bank, but you gotta pay upfront like USD50 for the card?
2. Trading in forums – you help people buy products with paypal money, then they pay you back in cash or TT to your bank
3. Buy things online – this another way to use the money..just use it to buy things instead of use credit card. But then again, how many things can you buy?

So which way I’m using? Non of it actually :P…Probably 10% of it is No. 3. I use a very long but safe method to bring back cash (yes…in cash) and also to minimise exchange rate lost.

Here’s what I do:

1. Transfer my money to UK/Singapore paypal – got friends there with Paypal account. I do this on monthly basis or depends on when I need the money.
2. You will probably loose a few USD here..depends on the amount you transfer.
3. Keep it there, till like more than 200 of the local currency…I got to know that if it’s more than 200SGD, the bank don’t charge you any fee!!!
4. Then ask your friend, to withdraw with their account (SG Bank or UK Bank), so you get that in cash in their currency (this is based on the day’s currency exchange rate, again no lost)
5. Then when they come back or you go there…you got money to spend lor..and extra ones, bring it back to KL and change back to RM..when the currency is strong

Yup..that’s how I do it..a longer process but definitely safe :). I calculated how much I lost in exchange rate..not much lah..since I don’t withdraw like in thousands LOL

That is why I made a trip to Singapore lor…partly is to collect my money. Of course, you gotta make sure you can 100% trust your friend…or else later she/he runaway with your money I don’t know eh :P.

I also transfer money to UK…ermm…I don’t think enough to make a trip there lah, but I ask Faythe’s godmom to get us stuff from there during UK sale…..so year end she’ll bring back the loots from there :).
