Remember I blog about how I wean Faythe off from the bottle. Well, she haven’t quite 100% wean off. When she sees Vyktore drinking from bottle, she will sometimes request for it. And since she doesn’t drink much milk & very slow, I have no choice but to give her. In MIL’s house her milk intake is practically almost 0. Nobody watches her and sits with her to finish the cup of milk. Unless she’s real hungry she will only drink milk. Most of the time she will take other food.
I don’t plan to wean her off milk so soon as it’s vital for her development, so when she’s at my house she follows my rules. Twice a day, 5oz. Better than nothing I guess. So since she request for the bottle, I’d give to her, but the rules is sit down and finish it. And I add some milo in for her so that she finishes it.
One thing good bout Vyktore, he loves his milk. He can finish 5-6oz. On top of it, sometimes Faythe leftover 1-2oz, he can also sapu the milk up!!! And he does this within minutes!!!
So what’s my trick to make sure Faythe don’t walk around. Milk drinking competition :). See who is faster in drinking milk haha…Let them lie down side by side and drink.
Both of them enjoys it..sometimes they will hold their hands and drink, look at each other..like a couple enjoying their drinks hahaha..
And I of course must go take some nice photos of this sibling moment. This is the very rare moment where I can get both their attention. Most of the time one will be north, one will be east.

Faythe knows how to enjoy herself. Haha, no milk goes to waste with Vyktore around. If Faythe still likes milk, why not allow her to continue as I’m still giving Des milk and I don’t intend to wean her off as long as she likes.

yalor, as long as she drinks her milk, wean later coz milk is really good for growing kids. Faythe only drinks 10oz of milk a day? Very little hor? Sherilyn still drinks around 27 ounces a day.
i also encourage ashley to drink her milk by asking her to finish it before aidan does…heheheh
So cute to see both of them with bottles…..mine stopped at 8 months old. I so wish that ashley would hold her bottle and drink. now i spoonfeed 3 x a day. no choice 🙁
So who is the clear winner jek? Do you believe if I tell you I still drink milk at this age? 😛
