Another month has pass..so fast huh. Faythe turns 32 months today. I can’t imagine August passed by so fast that I hardly can recall what happened the pass month. Probably due to overdose of fireworks LOL.
Vital Stats:
Weight: 11.9kg – finally she’s moving in terms of weight
Height: still same, somewhere 90cm
Teeth: Lost count, somewhere like 14-16?
Dietary:
2xMilk (5oz) + Milo
Solids – Rice, Noodles, Pasta – anything you can get, but favourite is noodles
Snacks – anything that is edible and NON Spicy
On her development:
Reasoning
This is what she does best. She can gives us reasons, very lame ones too when we ask her something. I find it very funny sometimes cause her reasons are pretty twisted. e.g. I don’t want to sleep with Daddy cause I want to sleep with Mommy *scratch head*
Choices
Thanks to the SMART Mommy, instead of forcing her to wear clothes she doesn’t, I have a new approach, giving her choices. So she’s started to wear girly skirts (as you can see here) because she’s given 2 skirts to choose. She’s becoming more selective of things around her, she wants this, doesn’t want that. Independent in making her own choices.
Not so terrible 2
I wonder if it’s due to her moving towards 3 or what, of late her Terrible 2 is becoming slightly obsolete. Instead she voices out her thoughts. When she’s sleepy, she’d say Mommy, Faythe wants to oi oi, instead of refuse to sleep and cry. Good sign I hope *fingers crossed*
Making Friends
She’s adding a list of her friends via Mommy’s friends. And she remembers her friends quite well. But it is very funny that she thinks all her friends are children, but she’s not. She acts like an adult.
Draws & Imagines
She loves drawing. What can she draw & imagine? She draws out-of-shape Circle, add in a few dots and says that’s a Whale.
Loves Cooking
Yup..she loves getting involved in her food preparation. So I actually let her help up sometimes. So far she has helped to cook: Soft boil eggs for her own breakfast (she places the eggs, I pour the water), make fruit juice for the family (she places the fruits and press the button, I do the juicing), making salad (she pours the ingredients, I stir).
Jealousy
I can sense some jealousy in her in a very mild manner towards Vyktore. Sometimes I notice she’ll push him to grab his toy. At times when Vyktore walk towards us, she will run very fast to get to us first. She wants attention I guess. But she does it in a very happy way that you don’t notice it’s jealousy, it’s probably playful.
Sharing…no no
She’s not too keen in sharing toys with kids she doesn’t know. And if someone grabs from her, she’ll grab it back. Possesive?

4 more months to 3yrs old!!!
I’ve tried the choice approach too. But it doesn’t work on XY sometimes. I give her 2 choices, she wants the 3rd. 😐

good good that she’s over the terrible 2 stage. i dun like it too when denisha asked to wear the same clothes over and over … you know the favourite clothes all the time. it’s like mommy and daddy got no money to buy clothes for her LOL.
I’m sorry but she looks funny in that skirt. lol.
