Who say boys don’t cry? No matter big boy or small boy, they also still cry. See this pic..it’s the usual Vyktore expression when he sees Daddy. It’s kinda disheartening actually :(. I really don’t know why, but he doesn’t seem to like his Daddy at all. Why why? I keep asking myself this question.
Vyktore is not as friendly and easy goer as Faythe. He doesn’t allow anyone to carry him, only particular people. But to the extend of his own Dad..I’m really surprise.
I’d probably gotta blame it on Daddy cause whenever he carries Vyktore, he likes to make loud noises and Vyktore doesn’t like it. So I think after few rounds of those *traumatic* experience…he doesn’t like it whenever Daddy goes near him. When he’s picked up..he’d start screaming. Poor fella….
The only time he doesn’t cry when Daddy carries him is when we are shopping.
I really hope this relationship will improve as he grows older…..
don’t worry lah cos bryan doesn’t even let VT carries him!!! I will turn away each time dadday wants to carry him. My husband said to enjoy this time when our boys stick to us. when they turn 4-5 yrs old, they will look for their daddies to play ball, combat, and all other boy games 🙂

one of my daughters also does not like the daddy… whenever I’m around, she will run away from the daddy when he tries to “catch” her … also the daddy like to make her agitated, probably that’s why she ran away… but she’s buddy with him when I am not around. guess no choice mah … quite sing mook lah
May be daddy have to spend more time with him and smile to him more, dats wat i am thinking to my son also…
ooo J used to cry when he looked at his daddy. Proly i was angry with his dad when he was in my tummy. He even cry when his daddy holds his bottle while feeding him. But now as he grows older, he likes his dad more. Cos his dad saved him many many times from this fierce mom.
I think as a child grow older things will get better . We wait n see k
dont worry. he’ll grow out of it. my kid didnt want hubby to carry or give them shower esp Iris. Now they both love daddy edi.

Same here. Claudia not close to her dad as well. Anything happen or she need anything, she wouldn’t go to her daddy. I blame it on Daddy too cause he spend way to much time on the computer game.
Don’t worry, as he grow older and do more boy things he’ll sure to yearn for daddy company 😀 My two boys are totally daddy’s boys coz he brings them out to play *keke*, and Izac sampai now only know how to call Papa, Mommy nowhere in his vocab 🙁
Alvan also doesn’t like Papa to carry him, but when going out he will ask to be carry *roll eyes*.

Looks like it’s normal for boys to dislike daddy when they’re vy young. LOL Same here, CE’d rather stick to me than be carried by papa… unless we trick him by saying we r going kai kai or give him Honeystar. 😀
You are not alone. My kids do not like daddy when they are young too. Now, everything is ok.
