Food Review: Duck Rice

hehe..Monday again, tempt you with Duck Rice this time. Want to eat Crispy-Skin-Still-Hot Duck Rice. Head to Paramount, Sunrise. Ermm…it’s actually quite easy to find, if you know where is KFC in Paramount, it’s at the opposite row of KFC, facing the main road.

When you go to eat duck rice, you gotta be real early!! By 1145am, the place is jam packed with alot of people. The usual order would be vegetables and the bird of course!!!

It’s really yummy because you can still feel the warmness of the bird. But I don’t quite like the owner, pretty stuck up (probably cause her shop famous). But if you can stand her stuck up attitude, you should try this.

Anyone has better duck rice to recommend, please let me know. I love duck rice kekeke..

  1. I like to go to Loong Foong, also in Paramount 😛 Make sure you go before 8pm (they’re only open in the evenings) or else no more!

  2. I know one by the roadside in Jalan Pasar (the famous Electronic Street) and another also by the road opposite of Pudu Plaza
I wanna try the Paramount…… Hope I can find it 🙂

  3. I love the duck rice from Sunrise. It has been a while since I was there. Do miss it from time to time. Just the other day I asked Mr.Wallace to go since we are at the area. He said it taste awful. Mat Salleh don’t know how to enjoy!

  4. Paramount? The one at the corner shop near the tyre shop? I love that duck there. It’s yummy!

I also love the Peking Duck at Sec 14 Oriental Chinese Restaurant. yummy!

  5. I’m a HUGE fan of Sunrise duck as well! But too bad they only sell in the afternoon. If I want to eat roast duck at night, I get it from this stall operating from the popular Hokkien mee stall in DU – same row as where Fajar used to be.

  6. duck rice my favourite too!!!!!!the one at sunrise quite ok … the owner’s son-in-law is my ex-colleagues brother … yeah complicated huh!! their restaurant is really packed … always filled with ppl. been there once only. i’ve tasted better … normally my mom will buy it. there’s one in ipoh also quite good. if you happen to drop by there and i’m there, i can bring u there makan-makan. nice nice with all spices and stuff. yummy!
