I enjoy watching both my kids grow up, sharing the love of their life: FOOD!! I must be very lucky to have kids who loves eating. When Vyktore sees anyone of us eats, he’d frantically follow us and keeps on hmm…hmmm…until we give him the food. But he’s a bit picky compared to Faythe. Faythe eats most of the food, whereas Vyktore, he doesn’t like soft plain food, e.g. taufu.
And when he sees Faythe having food, he’d even want it more!!! Since Vyktore is pretty messy, I usually let Faythe do the feeding (let her be the big jie jie and pamper the lil’ brother). Their favourite spot, the staircase.
They will sit next to each other. Each one take turns to take a bite at the lil’ snack (chocolate). If it’s biscuits, I will put them in a bowl and they will help themselves, but since Vyktore is pretty greedy, he can’t control himself. He’d keep stuffing food into his mouth before swallowing. When he gets a bite of the chocolate, I can see his contended look, sitting on the stairs, shaking his legs.

I truly enjoy watching them loving each other sharing the food. A cherished moment within the both of them. This is the time both will sit quitely, enjoy their food. I wonder if one day they will actually fight for food since both are as greedy.

Haha! I know the feeling! My Caitlin is also quite “greedy”. She’d finish her own meal already & yet when she sees any of us having anything to eat, it would be “.. I waaant….”
As she grows, there have been variations to her approach. Sometimes it is straight “I waaant”, other times she’d come over & *stick* to you, then “I waaant…”, yet other times it is just simply climbing onto your lap (when you are at the table eating) & helping herself!
My mum “warns” me that we should watch the amount she eats, otherwise “her intestines will expand/grow as she grows, requiring more food [proportionately] to satisfy her appetite, and she will be a fat girl!” (mum’s own words)
great to see your kids love food too. my kids love food too especially chocolates. eat and eat until poopoo also become hard. haha
vkytore shaking his legs when the food is nice … wah sounds like darien .. he does that too. now looks cute but older looks a bit horrible la. hehehe. fight for food … yeah man .. my kids fight for food .. so i have to give them equal share everytime and everyday when i buy them supper … its always fair share. 🙂

Indeed a very special moment to each mother to see 2 siblings get along so well with each other and also eating well. What more can we ask, right?

Mine, both also don’t like eating. Eating food is like asking them to eat sh*t. 🙁
I have to use a lot of methods, including force! They don’t mind to be hungry. The only thing they want is milk. 🙁
