Dearest Faythe,

Just short of 1 month, you will be turning 3 years old. Mommy seriously can’t believe how fast time flies with you in the family. If you asked me have I ever regret having you as my daughter, seriously…of course not!!! Having you in the family is one of the best thing that ever happen to us. We enjoy watching you grow everyday. From a helples little infant, you started to turn over at the age of 4 months.

Then you surprise us with your 1st crawl when you turn 6 months 3 days!! When you turned 1 year old, you started walking by yourself. Day by day we watch you change. Slowly from a rambutan head baby girl to a beautiful lil chitty chatter!! Yeah…so chatty that sometimes I wonder how much saliva have you got there..it’s simply endless. When you turned 2, you were still that beautiful chitty chatter, but terrible 2 began to show more in you.

Eventually, you became my headache lil rascal. Especially when you are moody, you simple can wreck my mood for the day. But at other times all I can say that you are the sweetheart that melts everyone’s heart. You have 2 personality, one that is an angel, one that is a devil.

Sometimes I wish I could contain my anger/upset about your tantrum, but I admit that I can’t. I’ve shouted at you many times when you are not co-operative. I’ve also caned you at times when you ignore me after the 3 strike rule. But nevertheless, I still love you unconditionally. I want you to know that I scold you because I care bout you. I don’t want you to become someone nasty when you grow up.

I hope that someday you will understand the reason behind. Perhaps when you are a parent one day, you will understand the hardship of bringing up a child.

But there is one thing I want you to know is that you are always Mommy’s Lil Baby. My one and only princess that can drive me up the wall and melt my heart at the same time. And we will always love you no matter what….unconditionally. Not only from Mommy, but Daddy as well (I know how Daddy make fun of you at home, but then again…he’s like that haha….that’s the fun part of having a Daddy, cause Mommy for sure won’t do those crazy things). And not forgetting your lil brother, though he doesn’t speak now, but he really adores you. I’m sure one day when he starts talking, you would be the 1st few person he’d address and tells you he loves you too.

Happy 35 months old my dear. May you move out from Terrible 2, and that Terrifying 3 go far far away…buried in some planet in the universe :).

Love,

Mommy & Daddy (Daddy tumpang name only, he never write this OK)
