I slept at close to 12am this morning after watching MalaysiaKini website *refreshing the page every 1 min*. Early results shown that BN was indeed weak, but of course TV as usual lah, only showing BN winning numbers *their results a bit lapuk LOL*.
Anyways, I woke up (both myself & Daddy) this morning and when I refresh my MalaysiaKini website, I saw the news……the shocking defeat of 5 states, excluding KL. I guess the vote really speaks for itself that people wants a change…people are tired and sick of empty promises…..and most importantly, people now are not as stupid as last time…they at least can search for news in internet…..not only relying on news which doesn’t tell the truth.
This is in fact a good lesson for the coalition party…..that country is indeed in the hands of voters…do your job well, and you get what you have done, else…you will be punished.
Ohh…and I’m so glad that Mr. Geleng-Kepala-Tol-Naik lost his seat despite the recounting of votes at his Parliamentary seat.
I was happy about that too. 😛
i am very happy with the result too!!! hopefully no more tol naik!
A lot of things that is happening before the election & the past few years have being the reason, Malaysian decide for a change. Our country is going into a new era and we don’t know what the future will be. Indeed 8th March 2008 is a new chapter in history for our 50 year old country. Continue to pray for our nation & all leaders of our nation to lead this country. that we will have peace……
Romans 13
Submit to Government
1 Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. 2 Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves. 3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to evil. Do you want to be unafraid of the authority? Do what is good, and you will have praise from the same. 4 For he is God’s minister to you for good. But if you do evil, be afraid; for he does not bear the sword in vain; for he is God’s minister, an avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil. 5 Therefore you must be subject, not only because of wrath but also for conscience’ sake.
We are definitely VERY HAPPY of the results. Hope we will have better future from now on. 😀
hope to have a good toll system in the country in the near future, hehe….
