I used to blog about how much Faythe hates dresses until a stage where I had to force her to wear. But now I use better tricks tactic to make her wear :). What are my tactics:
- relate to her fav cartoon character
- relate to me…wear the same colour as me
I also give her choices for her to choose which I find that is a better way than battling with her on what to wear. On some days, I allow her to choose what she wants to wear (obviously she chooses her fav. pants and tops). But on certain days, I’d give her 2 pieces of clothing and let her choose.
Sometimes, I’d allow her to choose the top, and I choose the bottom. So with that I don’t need to fight anymore. If I want her to wear dress, I’ll take out 2 dresses…and ask her to choose 1 of it :).
Mommy wins haha…..see the dress she’s wearing, that’s her favourite dress. At last, at least I can stock up some pretty dress for her.

Oh…my daughter don’t like to wear new dress, even is pants or shirt…she only likes to wear those old clothes…I am very headache every morning to change for her before go to school.

Girls will surely look extra pretty/cute/sexy in dresses. Ur tactic works oni if she chooses what u’ve selected. When I tried that with XY, she chose something which was not in the option. And she’s vy into dresses these days.
