Photoshoot: Mohanaa & Gokhul ROM

Photography

(credits & details here)

Sometime ago, I made a promise. And then I totally forgot bout the promise. Till I received a sms…Hey dear, you coming for my ROM (registration of marriage) tomorrow? I was like oh shiaks!!!…And so I called her up and told her yes I’m coming. Lucky I didn’t had anything up over the weekend. It was lazy Saturday weekend :).

Mohanaa, this dear friend of mine, I’ve known her since Primary school. And we were in the same class in Form 1-5. She even sat next to me in Form 3. That’s how long we’ve known each other. Psst…if you think she looks familiar, yes…she is a newscaster with RTM (If she’s still there..). So if you watch the 10pm news at night, you will probably see this familiar face. And not forgetting, she was the Miss Malaysia India some years ago hehe…

So I MSN my partner in crime, Sue (I’m very amazed ini pompuan can still go photoshoot when preggy 8 months LOL). Then she think think..next day she say yeah..lets go. But before we went for the photoshoot, we ended up @ Jalan Ipoh to buy some accessories for our Camera. Yippie..I got new tripod :).

The ROM was held in Holiday Inn Glenmarie Subang. It was something different, cause usually ROM is done at the Temple etc…

We were there late, and it was raining cats n dogs…bummer!! So anyhow, by the time we arrived, the make up was almost done. So better not waste time and started shooting. We weren’t the official photographer, hence it wasn’t so pressure :).

One thing I really love bout Indian wedding/events, is the colourful sarees they wear. It makes the photo looks more lively :).

The whole signing the paper thingy only lasted 5 mins. And they were done. Then the guest had their tea at the lounge. Very simple ROM event.

So what else, we also sama sama makan :). And here are some SHOTS I manage to snap while I was at the event. Her wedding is in Dec, I’m very tempted to snap photos again…lets see how.
