Vyktore has started showing more interest with books. He now enjoys reading more with us at night.  It’s not easy to read to 2 kids at the same time, as they have different preference. Faythe likes to go for stories like Ugly Duckling, Beauty & the Beast. But Vyktore doesn’t have the patience for all these. He likes Nemo and some simple books with big pictures.

The Finding Nemo Story Book used to be Faythe’s favourite, now it has become Vyktore’s. In fact Vyktore is so rough that he tore the book into 3 parts :-|…I stick it back so that he can still enjoy it.

One funny thing about Vyktore is when it comes to certain part of the book, he’d laugh very loud and enjoys it if we keep repeating the same page :|. There’s this page in the Nemo book where Nemo comes out from the Pipe and there’s a crab on the page. Whenever I read the word Crab, he’d go: ah haha ah ahaha…so excited. He can go on and on if I keep reading on the same page. And I wonder what is so funny bout this page. Probably he’s relating to what he watched on the Cartoon itself?

On one of those night, I got itchy. He was flipping thru this ABC book, some of the pages had Sheep on it. So he said, “ba ba” and shake his body left n right, ask me to sing Baba Black Sheep. Normally I will sing it very slow and steady. But that night I was being cheeky, I sang it very fast and rush thru the words. He was so entertained by the fast version he sat there laughing and keep asking me to repeat it. I think I sang at least 10 times of the same song :|.
