Since young, Vyktore is a greedy boy. Although he’s a picky eater (he eats only rice, no noodles), but nevertheless we brand him greedy. He’d stuff himself silly with a mouthfull of food whenever we let him handle the food himself. Usually, I won’t let him feed himself cause I’m worried that he chokes. But we need him to improve his dexterity, so no choice, finger food we still let him to try feed himself.
He’s pretty good at feeding himself now, except that we still have the same problem. If you give him a piece of Jacob’s Biscuit, he probably can finish it with 2 bites :|. That’s how greedy he can get LOL. And if you give him honey star, he not only take 1, but 3-4 and stuff them into his mouth. Then he’ll take another 3-4 and stuff into the mouth again :|….All in 8!!
What drives me up the wall is when he chewing half way, he’d have difficulty to swallow, then he opens his mouth and start spitting the food :|. Or sometimes there will be juices coming out from the sides of the mouth when he’s eating chocolate/fruits…*ants inviting scene for sure*.
This pic of him, he was actually eating a coconut tart. I sat there with him and kept reminding him swallow first, but he keeps putting it into his mouth and after a while, he pouted. Looks like a squirrel to me haha..but lucky he manage to swallow all.
I guess it’s a boy thing. My boy does the same. When can’t handle, he’ll spit out. We also keep reminding him when he feed himself too-that’s all we can do coz he dun let us feed. He’s getting better now.
Sound like Izac to me, I think they are really squirrels…. like to store food in the mouth! Then tak jadi swallow, blehhhhhh… all comes out…
haha… I think it is another phase cause Malaika used to do that too. So worried about her being choked.
boys will be boys! it’s the same thing with Bryan. He stuffs until once, he vomited all out. Either that or he stuffs himself and then sees something else, and spits what’s in his mouth to make room for the new stuff!!!

aidan never seems to be full! always demanding to eat whatever we are eating even after he has had his milk or porridge!
YOu just need to constantly remind him everytime he does that. if not one day it will became a habit. I have a cousin brother… nevermind. other time. haha! too long story.

Yup, sounds like my boy too. If he ate raisins, it’s not suprising to find 1 biji 1 biji in his poo the next day. hahaha After reading all the comments, I’m starting to think it cud be a boy thing. 🙂
He’s not greedy la.. he’s a fast eater! 😛
My boy is different. He’s a very picky eater. The only time he eats like nobody’s business is when he’s having chocolate ice-cream with sprinkles.

yup..exactly like barnabas….sumbat until kenot sumbat anymore then start chewing…kenot chew, spit out then sumbat somemore. after reminding him everytime he eats; chew first, chew…like this…show him how to chew, he no longer does that anymore now. 🙂
Haha he looks funny, and cute too. Dillon on the other hand, only feed himself super good with snacks, the main meal he still wants us to feed him. 🙁

Same like Darrius! Especially when he likes the food and want to have more so he quickly stuff them inside so he can have more helpings! Boys!
