Extremely backdated post, but I thought I wanted to post it up just for record purpose 😛.

Faythe with her buddy, Rachel. She’s my friend’s daughter, just 3 months old difference.
Vyktore: sitting down clapping hands as the other children sang.
Before the end of semester in August, the kindy had family day. I was actually a bit reluctant to go, having the thought of handling 2 kids without a maid and going out is really a nightmare. But I decided that I should go ahead. After all, it’s in the school compound, I won’t risk loosing my kids (I’ve been having this constant nightmare that my kids will get kidnapped..gosh…).
We were supposed to dress the kids up with National Costume since it’s Patriotic Month. Hence I put on Aodai for Faythe & Sam Fu for Vyktore. And I wore a Chinese top too haha…
There were food served, we had some light snacks. Then the kids performed 3 songs:
- Negaraku
- Rasa Sayang
- 2 Tigers (mandarin song)
Faythe didn’t want to join the singing, as usual. She pretended to be busy by helping herself with some papers and scissors and busy cutting away. She only joined the singing when the mandarin song came along.
Vyktore instead join in the fun and clap along and dance along. He stood still when they sang Negaraku haha….
Sometimes I seriously can’t imagine how the teachers manage to do that. To put a whole bunch of kids (whom 1/2 of them refuse to follow instructions) to perform in front of parents. Bravo to the teachers.
After the singing, we had some family games and the day was over.
I took quite a bit of photos of various kids, but not putting them up here, in case some parents do not want their kids photo to be published.
just know there is school family day, look like the kids enjoy it very much!
A good looking smile from Faythe over there :p
ha, she pretended to be busy? yeah, kids are great pretenders too! My little boy always pretends not to hear me when he’s asked to do something!
Well done, Jazz you didn’t lose them! kekeke
why no pic of u in chinese top one?
Ya wor… it’s such a big difference, our childhood and theirs. Now moms have this constant fear of losing their kids… the world’s crazy!
And yah, where’s your picture leh??
Some teachers just have their magic to keep the children together.
your fear of losing your kids is normal in this crazy world we live in… It’s ok to be extra paranoid.
How nice.. I’m quite pissed off everybody’s children have concert in school, and mine don’t have.
