Can’t come down…

One of those evening when I reach home after work, I was busy in my study room. Trying to catch up with blog reading while waiting for the water heater to heat up the water and bath. Faythe as usual came upstairs by herself. And I saw her went into our bedroom.

I peeked at her and I saw her flipping her books, so I just let her be. After sometime…

Faythe: Mommy…come here come here…(she’s sounding like Mr. Hon asking me to go see him)
Mommy: What? You come here lah
Faythe: No no Mommy, you come here…..come now…
Mommy: What you doing? You come lah…
Faythe: Mommy, faster come..faster…

I dragged myself to the bedroom and wandering what this girl wanted. To my surprise. She was actually at the higher bunk bed. She went up there all by herself :|. But she couldn’t come down, so she asked me to carry her down…..gosh…she’s so daring :|.

Before I carried her down, I gave her a lesson pep talk and told her why she shouldn’t climb up there herself. In case she falls down, she could have broke her bones. But being a monkey girl, she just yada yada and act as though she understood. She still tries to climb up now and then but stopped by me.

So I’ve asked Daddy to remove the ladder bars so that she can’t climb up.

  1. Kids can really climb and jump! I remember that I used to climb mango trees in my aunt’s house and felt very proud to do that. I can’t imagine if my kids were to do that one day!

  2. Haha, my Sherilyn is just as samseng and monkey girl as Faythe. She will never get a phobia of anything though she has hurt herself many times, sigh….

  3. Yeah.. good idea to take away the ladder. XY oso wants a double decker coz she likes the ladder. 😐 But we’re not getting any now. Maybe when the kids r a little older and share a room.
