Shoe Jinx

Motherhood
Have you ever been into such a jinx day that all the things you want doesn’t get into your way? For me, yes. It was last Friday. My one and only pair of shoes, a hole is coming out from the side (side of the last toe). So my plans were to get a replacement, at the same time get a pair of sandals too. And since Faythe needs a pair of *approvable* looking shoes for the wedding. So all in 3 pairs. Was supposed to go 1u to look for the shoes, but Daddy had last minute plan to have dinner at Kepong, so I went to get the shoes in Jaya Jusco, Metro Prima. It was supposed to be a dive, pick & dash job, but ended up spending 2 hours there!!!
My shoes:
Found a pair which I wanted, but that colour didn’t have my size!!! arghh…so I ended up getting another colour.
My sandals:
Again, found a nice pair of sandals, but they don’t have my size!!! So I ended up getting dark brown colour. In fact there were 5 colours, but all no size *shake head*
Faythe’s shoes:
Well, this is a total disaster…I went round the whole JJ, I spotted a few which I like, but doesn’t have her size!!! The ones which fits her, doesn’t go with her baju. I almost give up!!! Worse was I didn’t have Faythe with me, Daddy took her home after dinner, so I couldn’t decide if the size was right. Was afraid if not right, she will be going to church wedding barefooted!!! At last I decided to get her this pair, which I find the closest that match her dress. Now I realise that, buying kids shoes, it’s even worse than buying your own shoes. I’m not a shoe person. At one time I only own not more than 2 pairs of shoes. Not very woman right. Our shoe rack is invaded with Daddy’s shoes. When I need a pair of shoes, I’ll just go look for it, grab it and go. That’ll last me for 3-4 months (very rough), thereafter will go get another pair. But with Faythe, it seems even more difficult, and of course the size as well, her feet growing too fast!!! Now how I wish every pair of clothes comes with a pair of shoes kekeke….
