this was taken First Day, 6 hours after Faythe was introduced to this world…so thick and smooth…like got a layer of conditioner applied..i just love touching them hehe…My Dad says looks like my hair when I was born…notice, got sideburn somemore…my SIL say must be like Elvis kakaka…
After one month, the hair became spiky and stood up..macam mohawk!! Still love touching them…soft mah hahaha..Then we realise it got too long, so we decide to……
give her a nice trim (went to a saloon) and there we have..spiky but not curvy hair 🙂
1 month down the line…the hair grew and now the hair looks lime rambutan hahahha..or maybe Afro Style..and the head look off-balance, cause the hair is so high hehehe…
Then dunno why & when..the side of the hair started not to be so spiky and fall in place very nicely..but the top still like rambutan
MIL says..getting too long again, so gave her another hair cut, this time shorter..makes her look very much like a boy, looks like daddy (same hair style mer)..I still like to touch the hair..like sapu sapu on top..spiky and nice hahaha…I do that to daddy’s hair also
Then it grew longer, but only the top ones…the side never did grew..so she end up having “crew cut” style..The middle is longer..and the sides are short. When she was 4-5 months..hair started to drop..it became like patches at the back, MIL says like beggar chai hahaha..So Mommy did the evil thing…
There you go, our Botak girl. Kesian…cried like no tomorrow when they shaved her first time..Then tricked her to sleep and gave her 2nd shave (silent shaver). She must have felt so light now that the hair is gone totally hehe…God mother say one, once in a life must have Botak, or else not cool lah!! And Sifu said, sapu some brandy on the head, then hair will grow lebat. So I did lah, rub the whisky on my palm and just dab a bit on the head.
She must have got angry…look at her face, like wanna eat Mommy up!! Her hair started to grow back…I like to touch it still hahaha..short short and not too hard
At 8 months, her hair has grown ermm…I should say out of shape, no hair style one….and there’s still a small patch at the back….But looks like the top grows faster than the side, that’s why sometimes after sleep, when she wakes up she got *kai kung tau* hahaha
Now, just slightly into 9 months, her hair grew even more…and it’s spiking out in all directions..my oh my…and she sure look not too happy with her hair in this pic hehe..Mommy hope the coming months her hair will start to fall nicely in place so that Mommy can put Bobby Pins on her hair..Pin oso sudah beli from Bangkok, just that for now, can’t clip lerr!!!
her hair will probably “fall down” soon la, Yee Ching’s hair oso same what from what I’ve read 😛
Ivan’s hair, on the other hand, so straight and fine LOL… like girl’s hair
How come your faythe got so much hair? What did u eat during your pregnancy? Both my children didn’t have much hair until after 1, so afraid to cut their hair.

Faythe looks extremely cute with her “kai kung tau”, :D! Be patient, her hair will be more manageable when she grow older!
Yee Ching’s hair also spiking when she was younger, and we always heard ppls give remarks about her spiking hair. But once her hair fall down, it’s so smooth and nice and we heard lots of praise for her nice hair though.
P/S: Yee Ching’s hair also thick in the middle and have sideburn too.

Your pins can be used soon, as the “kai kung tau” will be fallen down when the hair is “LONG” enough. My SIL’s daughter had spiky hair last time, but now just so nice with ladylike hairstyle.

eh..ever think of to use Faythe’s bb hair to calligraphy pen? In singapore, it is very hot! Parent do it & keep it. If want to sell, easily can get abt 1k for one pen! Believe?

Your bb looks so cute with the hairstyle.1st time I am seeing this kinda hairstyle for bb. My son now going to be 10months but hair growing very slow. I didn’t cut until now. Maybe because it’s curly at the bottom so the hair looks short till now.

Gee, u rubbed Faythe’s head with wine (old folk’s say) when she was a little bb ar? Soooo spiky like porcupine’s spikes! And so much hair and so dark some more *envy, envy, envy*. How I wish Destinee has dark black hair (her’s are very brownish macam sudah dyed) but not dat much as Faythe. And mommy’s so bad to trim until ‘botak’, so ugly looking, no wonder, look at dat ‘glare’ Faythe was like wanting to ‘eat’ mommy up! kekeke.
