Team building @ Eagle Ranch

Travelogue
Last Thursday & Friday, office organised team building for the whole department…So about 100 odds (4 sessions, each session 100+) of us went to Eagle Ranch to have some fun, play some games & win some prizes. There were bus provided, but hey, driving is so much better, u get to choose what time u want to leave, can bring extra loads & have fun in the car hahaha…and also company pays RM100 per car. So I drove there with 2 other friends (1 more FFK lerr). Adeline and Frankie were in the car, Frankie, most of the time sleeping lah..and Adeline kept me entertained while I was driving. We even took a snapshot of all of us..camera on the dashboard kekeke…And I’ve broke my speed limit!!! The new record is 160kmph.
Arrived there about 11+, check-in at the counter..took a beautiful pic of Water Lily and discovered that our room is not ready :(, so we went to Bryan’s and Edwin’s room. They were staying in Log Cabins chalet..very cool lehh…we even found out the bathroom + toilet is superbly *king tim*…it’s got an open air roof..kakakaka…
Then we head for lunch, nothing much interesting as for the food part..Then I went to check at the reception if our room is ready, YES!! It is..And we are not staying at Log Cabins, we are placed at Kampung House, a bit far from the Log Cabins…so we took a drive there..you see, car got advantage mah hehe..Some pics that we took around the kampung House (KH) living area..it’s a 2 storey kampung house, we stayed at the top one..and Frankie was one of our neighbour!! It’s also lucky that we stayed at the top floor, cause ppl can’t peep when we take shower since it’s so high up…hahaha…But then we found another *king tim* moment….the water heater is there, but where the hell is the shower hose (fah sah)..looking left and right, I told Adeline, I think we got to squat under this tap and bath LOL. Then later we discover the water actually flows from the top of the rocks…cool huh…very creative!!!
OK..so we took a short nap..Adeline did, not me!! Then we had briefing, some games till late evening. Then break time, dinner and more games at night. They day ended like about 10pm, but we were still not sleepy..so decided to start our mahjong game hehe…I brought my super-mini mahjong set, Adeline & Ee Nee didn’t know how to play, so it’s teaching and learning lah..now they are expert hahaha….And we’ve got visitors..Frankie, Teik Beow & Soon Wah came over to check out what we were on. And Adeline brought a deck of cards, so they played *cho tai ti*..hokkien version..Why hokkien version, it’s really the first time I see people playing this game, speaking in Hokkien..was laughing my heads off kekekeke…funny!! Ended the day at 12am, as Adeline was dead tired!!
Next morning, we had an uphill task..went to the beach, it was a “short” walk from the resort to the beach. We were supposed to build a raft, row it out to the sea, grab the flah and bring it back. Of course, there were experts that did a demo how to tie the raft and did QC when we were done with it..or else we would have ended up not rafting, but swimming with the bamboo sticks kekeke…Our team came in 4th..cause the left side wasn’t rowing hard enough!! Anyway, that was real fun and we learned a lot bout team work, knowing more colleagues, co-ordination, etc…
So hands & legs all so tired after the rowing, went back to our KH, took a long cold shower and we played Jenga haha..Then we head for lunch, surprisingly the food was delicious or isit because we were so hungry, everything was good hahaha…Went back, played more Jenga and finally check out around 1pm+..I was so tired and sleepy, so decided or rather forced Frankie to drive back to KL kekeke…
Fun trip, enjoyed the company of colleagues and look forward to more activities of such from our company. *Hint Hint*

Recommend to go if you are not with babies, toddlers like age 3-4 is OK. Lots of mossie, so pls make sure bring mossie patch & mossie coil. Other facilities are like go-kart, swimming, abseiling and a whole long list, check it out at their website. The place is pretty clean, though the hot water is not working well. The rooms are air-conditioned and their TV can receive 8TV haha…And the cost was like RM170 per nite for KH & Log Cabin, RM30?? for Long house (not so nice lah, don’t stay there hoh)..It’s twin sharing, but we added an extra bed for triple share.
