Backdated: Luncheon @ Le Meridien

Work

One of the account business operations manager came to KL recently. And on his last day in KL, he decided to give us a treat at the hotel where he stayed.

We had lunch @ Sudu Le Meridien. Few days ago, my colleague was just telling me about this place and here I am having lunch. Slurpssss…

The menu is pretty simple. There’s 3 package, RM79++, RM89++, RM99++. Select the main course from the menu they provide to you. Then starter and dessert is buffet style!! Guess what’s for starter? Japanese food!! Yes, there were oysters!! There were sashimi too!! Gosh, so much variety and I dare not take a lot of food or else I won’t be able to eat my main course.

Then the main course, I ordered cod fish with some dunno what sauce (pic below the oyster). It tasted so well, the cod fish meat was in chunks, tasted more like scallop then cod fish itself hahaha…One of my colleague ordered rib eye, not bad too (as you can see in the pic). There’s also Tom Yam Seafood noodles (sucks big time..my other colleague regretted it LOL).

Since the main course was fish, I had some space for the dessert. Again we were spoilt by the variety of choices. I had 2 rounds of desserts…their chocolate and cakes, yum yum..they always look so inviting don’t they…like calling you to eat them hahaha

But I must say that despite the good food, the service is pretty poor. We ordered our food and waited for almost 1 hour before it was served. When it was coffee/tea time at the end of the meal, again we waited for like 20 mins to be served!! I think they are short of staff.

Then again, I think I’ll go back again for another round…like the food there hehe…
