Faythe started asking questions when she turns 2 this year. And it revolves around the whys and the whats..then whens and then rest of the W has yet to come. Sometimes she will also ask where. And we like the way she ask question cause her intonation is very different and sometimes she speaks as though she’s singing the question LOL.
Here are some of her questions in our day to day life.

Faythe: What daddy doing?
Daddy: Daddy put lotion for the car, make the car smooth and nice
Mommy do mask and Faythe saw
Faythe: Why Mommy face like that? *show her puzzled look*
Mommy: Mommy become monster muahahaha….
Faythe: *covers her mouth* don’t want
Mommy: ekekke..no lah, Mommy put mask, later pretty pretty lor..You want?
Faythe: Don’t want
Mommy cooking at home
Faythe: Mommy what you doing?
Mommy: Mommy cook Mam mam for Faythe to eat
Daddy drinking Ribena
Faythe: What daddy drinking?
Daddy: Daddy drink blood…muahahaha….you want?
Faythe: *Covers her mouth* don’t want..and run away LOL
Mommy driving car
Faythe: Where Mommy going?
Mommy: Go home lorr…go home eat dinner
A lot more questions..which I have forgot. Sometimes I do enjoy answering them. But she hasn’t start the funny funny question, so it’s still not too bad. But Daddy always very naughty, don’t give her the right answer, which in turn gets scolded by me cause if we give her wrong answer, she will take it wrongly, which is not good.
Sometimes she will ask and answer by herself, if she already know the answer.
And this one, she talk and answer herself..and it’s really funny, cause she’s teaching Vyktore.

I don’t know where she learn how to teach Vyktore, but she just said it on one night while we change her clothes. This jie jie very good teacher hahaha…
hahahaha, daddy so bad la… said drink blood. poor little girl… its really cute and funny when they start to ask the ‘W” questions and it will lead to the 100th questions where they will ask “why like this” or “where are you going” etc etc… enjoy the moment…

I have a friend who majored in children development and she told me that this is the age where the chile’s mind is ‘plastic’ therefore whatever you say to her will be mold her into the person that she is going to be. One very important thing that she told me is that never ever brush her question away or give short retort of ‘Don’t ask so much!’ answers as that will kill off the child’s curiosity which will eventually impact her development.
Do agree with Duckie dat we have to try our best to give the curious kid an answer else she won’t bother to ask in future but still hor sometimes just wish they would shut up and don’t ask too much.
As usual, Mr. Hon’s a real funny daddy. Vyktore will learn lots of things from big jeh jeh soon.
