Fireworks…

Events Photography

Does anyone know there’s a fireworks competition going on in Putrajaya? I bet most of you don’t :P. I saw it in some VMM Brochures, so that’s how I came to know bout it. Tonight is the 1st night. And this will go on for 2 weeks, until 1st Sept. So if you are interested, go and see. Get more info from the website or ask me LOL…

I didn’t pay huh..I just find a nice spot (with my photo kaki) and took pics…Tonight it’s by Malaysia Team. Very beautiful. I’ve never seen such a big one in my life before. But very short only lah, like 20mins. Wished it was longer LOL…I told Nadia about this since she was staying there, glad that she manage to watch it too. I hope Irfan enjoyed it ;).
Anyway..here are some of my fav pics…..and the rest in my photoblog. Go check them out.

Minutes just before the show starts…

And that’s the beginning……

Purple fireworks…lovely…..notice the lil yellow crescent moon…nice hoh…

one of the better shot I got…without all the smokes..love this

Sparks from the ground…

And more to come…hop over to my photoblog ;)…..I plan to go again, with my family this time. Shall see which is the better date.

  1. I like your fireworks! I had been meaning to go but went somewhere else instead. How do you adjust the settings to shoot ah??? I could never take fireworks on my DSLR….. 🙁

  2. Yeah I heard about the event, too bad it is in PutraJaya. If not, I would have bring my family there. I heard it is going on for a week or so. Great shots.

  3. Yeah, just like you, how I wished it was longerlah. I mean, to go through all that jam? Haha! Anyways, excellent photos! Will check out more.. thanks for informing us, yeah? 🙂

  4. yeah i heard bout that but tot it was for a day only. hmm since its until 2nd sept … maybe we could all go too … my kids love fireworks.

  5. Hi there,

I’m Chew from Singapore. I’ve already book my leave so I could come to join these great event. Unfortunaly, I do not drive, esp. malaysia road, for a singapore driver, nightmare. With the jam and all that, without a car, how do you guys think I can see the show and go back to KL city?

To me, the solution seem to be to just watch the show somewhere near the ERL putrajaya terminal so I could catch the last train back to KL city.

    Any idea?

    Thank everyone
