We usually go get frogs for the arowana at night (at least once a week). And it’s no exception that I always bring Faythe & Vyktore along. Good to have car rides at night, at the same time can put them to sleep with the car haha….
So there was one night, when Faythe was really sleepy, and she almost fell asleep in the car. Here’s our conversation:
Faythe: Mommy, what you doing there?
Mommy: Driving lorr…*I saw her eyes half close* You sleepy ah?
Faythe: NO *Open her eyes*
I continued driving…and then saw her *fishing* (almost falling asleep)
Mommy: Faythe, you oi oi ah?
Faythe: *No answer*
Mommy: Hey Faythe, you oi oi already?
Faythe: NO Mommy. Faythe’s eye’s very big one.
And guess what she showed me, exactly the same expression as what you can see in the Scrap above…..
Faythe: See, my eyes so big one.
Mommy: *I instantly broke into laughter* hahahaha…this one not big eyes ler, this one is hantu (ghost) eyes…hehehe…
Then I showed her how to do big big eyes, by holding her fingers and opening the eyes, but she still prefers her hantu looking eyes as the big eyes.
