Well, if you read my Hanoi post, you’d notice I didn’t mention anything bout my loots from there. Basically, this is the trip that we didn’t bring much back, apart from some communist looking T-Shirt (Red with a yellow star), some coffee, coffee steep & some dragonfly souvenirs. Yeah, there’s nothing much to buy, unless you like lacquered stuff hehe…
Here’s what we got as souvenirs for the colleagues. Balancing dragonfly. It’s made of bamboo, shaped like a dragonfly (they also had butterfly for sale) and it can balance on your fingers just with the tip of it. It’s very cheap, maybe Rm1/dragonfly. I’ve seen these being sold here, at least like Rm5/dragonfly!!
Faythe loves playing with it, so we reserved some for her. She’s pretty good walking around with the dragonfly and balancing it on her finger.
nothing to buy from hanoi??? really? hehehehe…
interesting…i haven’t seen those before. I usually lug home a lot of lacquer wear and handbags for my mum.
Nothing to buy now because later they will be lots to be on regular basis… LOL
Wow.. wat a good bargain. And Faythe can practise her balancing act. hehehe
hahaha…i remember those red t-shirts with yellow star. their handbags are nice too.
I like the dragonfly toy. It actually trains your balancing skill, eh?
Those balancing dragon fly, you can see a portrait of a wall painting at Souled Out 1st floor. Look exactly the same…… Thanks for the dragie-fly
