Imaginations can really run wild sometimes. Kids imagination…..it’s even far beyond what we can imagine. Each time I speak to my girl, she has something in her lil pocket. Something that gives me the thrill. And makes me wander how on earth did she ever thought of that. It really tickles me when she does all this.
Sometime ago, Daddy flew to Bandung. Bandung is famous for what? Kek Lapis!! Yeah…the original kek lapis from Indonesia. It’s just layers n layers of cake. It taste very nice, different from those sold here. You can actually separate the layers, just like the 9 layers kuih we eat back here.
So Faythe took 4 pieces and ate while watching TV. As she was chewing, she told me it taste very good. Then she said this:
Faythe: Mommy, look…I got a gun!!
Mommy: huh…where?
Faythe: Here, you see…*she showed me her cake*
Mommy: errm…..*the corners were all bitten off, does look like a gun shape* oohh…i see.
Faythe: *then she continue biting it* Mommy look, this is a car!!
Mommy: Alamak…now a car? *took a look, err..no it doesn’t look like a car* Where got car?
Faythe: Got, sini..this one…
Mommy: OK, I give up…
Does your kid imagine as well as they eat their food?
my kids are fussy eaters….they are not so passionate about food. i wish they will look at food and enjoy it. anything green- they call it ‘yucky’….anything they don’t like – they call it ‘ugly’.
the kek lapis from Indo is nice and super rich…………… but very very fattening.
Kids and their boundless imaginations! You just gotta give it up to them!
Bryan’s fav shape now is Triangle. He will bite his food (biscuits, bread, etc) into that shape and then show it to me 🙂
Well they can see things we cant… or maybe we are too old to imagine… hahaha
ya, jo too…everything in L shape will be a gun:)
my kids dun imagine while they are eating … they do when they are playing. i feel that its good that they imagine when they’re eating meaning they enjoy their food. my kids especially denisha eat more of the things she likes. things that she doesn’t like she takes a long time to finish … sigh. darien .. eat amost anything. 😛
All i saw from the pic is a lil Jasmine 😀
