I still remember when Faythe was young (before 1 yo), she used to wake up for 3am feed once in a while when she has growing spur. But Vyktore, he never had that…or rather cause I BF him till 1yo, everytime he cries for feed, I’d just feed him directly. Then get back to bed. After weaning, he never did woke up for feeds till recently.
There was one night while I was busy scrapping away, he started crying. I think at that time was close to 2am. So I gave him his pacifier (he usually cries for pacifier at night) and then he settled down. I went back to continue my work, and few minutes later again!! Arghh…eventually I went in and out the bedroom for like 3-4 times. Then I thought, maybe this fella wanted milk. So I went down and made milk. Then I took his pacifier out, and shove the bottle to his mouth. Boy, he was so hungry, he just drank the whole bottle with his eyes closed!! Poor boy, this Mommy is so blur, let him cry so many times didn’t get the clue.
Right after the drink, he went straight to bed till morning. So now if he keeps on tossing around and crying mid of night I know what he wants. That’s cause we give him dinner too late, but when he sleeps that time, it’s too early for milk, so if we skip one time, I have to watch out for the wee hours feed.
hahaha… my little girl also like that. When starts to tossing, immediately i will feed her the milk. with eyes closed also….
i pakai hantamm milk before sleep even if dinner is late hahaha. Mummy so rajin take photos at 2am!!
ooooo mine also will cry for pacifier in the middle of the night..sometimes he asked for milk also i dunno cos he seldom drink milk in the middle of the night…so we same same blur la.
as for aidan…..we’ll have to pat him or carry him a while and he will fall back to sleep….
I will have to start waking up in the middle of the night to bottle-feed my boy too…
Hahahaa…. it is definitely easier feeding them while they are sleeping and it is faster too, minus the fussing 😛
No matter how late CE takes his dinner, he’ll still be having his bottle b4 sleep, even if it’s just 1.5 hrs gap. Anyway, CE’s been like V for quite some time edi.. waking up a few times in the middle of the nite. But I refuse to feed him milk… don’t want him to hv the habit of having midnite feedings. Cruel hor?
ok lah..not that bad. sometimes, it’s really hard to predict what they want
Ha ha — Aiden is like that too.. most of the time, he’ll cry out, and when we give him his milk, he’ll drink with his eyes closed and fall back asleep till the next morning.

i was in ur position with Ian too!i checked his buttock for worms, etc.. then i realised he was hungry
ya i know i know! brandon does that too, occasionally. He would keep tossing tossing around and couldn’t go back to sleep – very unsettled. After i make him the milk and he would drink it so fast. When he’s done, he just fall asleep like that.
aiyah… my KX he want to play after the milk ler!!!
hehe…when my girls small, i will give milk before milk too, dont care they full or not, else they up at 2-3am! LOL
same same la… en en also cry out everynight since very young and night feeding is a routine that i got to do no matter what. I feel good to see her finish her milk and straight away sleep back without pacifier… Don’t know how long the wee hours i’ll have to continue this….
