Vyktore @ 19 Months

Vyktore turns 19 Months today. Some updates on him:

Weight: 10.3kg

Height: unknown

No. of teeth: ermm…lost count cause he doesn’t open his mouth for me. But I doubt there’s any increase compared to last month.

Diet: He hates rice!! Yup….he’s on a strike for most solid food, not sure why. So he’s basically living on MILK, OATS & other food except rice and noodles. I’m slowly introducing him again with solids, now he’s OK with bread. But he loves biscuits.

Good thing is he loves drinking. Give him any form of liquid, he can gulp half a bottle for you at 1 shot!!

What he does

• Climbing Stairs – this is his latest achievement. He’s slowly mastering his skills of climbing up n down stairs.
• Language development – well he’s talking alot of alien languages, that’s all I could say. The few distinctive ones: Nah (when he gives us things), Car (can do this vy well), Kehh (don’t know what is this), Ish (fish). The rest, sorry lah…tarak faham
• Running – he runs like a penguin haha…and he likes to move his body when he runs, like a big-walk participant
• TV Addict – he’s a confirm Tube addict, I’m trying to minimize this and don’t allow him watch too much
• drawing on walls – what is it with boys. Got paper don’t wanna draw, he will bring his pencil to the wall, cushion and start his masterpiece 😐
• love hate relationship with Faythe – because of Faythe always pushing him, sometimes he does the same to her as well. But other times they are pretty OK, except that Faythe likes to bite him O_o.
• Taming the car – guess what he did. I left him in the car as while I was unloading things and he actually accidentally released the handbrakes!!! So my car went rolling off and I chase over it and pulled the handbrakes. Thank God nobody was hurt and the car was only slightly dented. Since that incident (few days back), no more driving car for him.
• Hyper before bed time – nowadays it’s really difficult to put him to sleep. Faythe sleeps earlier than him!! He will be getting on and off, sitting up, clapping hands non stop (don’t know for what reason) and keep repeating it…gosh…
• Running away – like I mention, he’s a pure jailbird!! Cause whenever he seize any chance, he will try to runaway and just want you to catch up with him. Then he’d enjoy laughing non stop.
• Slides – oh he loves it when we put him on the slide and slides down

What I notice

• he’s not as daring as Faythe. He will always test water first before he attempts something new
• he’more stubborn than Faythe
• he’s very persistent
• technical things, he learns faster than Faythe

That’s all for this month. He’s definitely slow in speech compared to his peers. Getting more sociable  with people.
