Vyktore turns 23 Months

Whoa…another month to go and this boy of mine is going to be 2 years old :|. Can’t believe how time flies. I haven’t even plan for his birthday, sigh….
Vital Stats:
Weight: 11.5kg (it’s going up n down due to him recovering from cough again & again)
Height: forgot to measure, I guess same as last month
Teeth: 14 (if not mistaken. he’s teething lately and been looking for things to chew, including Mommy’s fat thighs :|)

Dietary:
Still a fried rice person. He only eats that. If there’s no fried rice, then it’s oats. He will sometimes make us Happy, if he eats rice with soup. But that’s pretty rare occasion. He loves pears. Still loves yoghurt & yakult. He’s a biscuit lover.

For the Record:

• Speech – he has shown some improvement this month, babbling more, pointing more and trying to speak more. His latest addition of words which I could decipher:
• boh – ball
• kek – cake
• jak – jack (nightmare before christmas monster’s name)
• og – frog
• baba – sheep (I sing baba black sheep everytime he points to the sheep in the book, probably that’s why he calls it baba)
• bu – book
• kak – chiak (peek a boo)

• Books – beginning to show interest in books. But still doesn’t have the patient to slowly flip thru. And only points at the things he likes.
• Jump – He attempts to jump lately. Faythe loves to jump from the last step of the stairs to the floor at home. Watching this, he tried to mimic the same.
• Door – able to reach the knob but has yet to be able to turn it around.
• Vain – he loves to comb his hair in front of the mirror after bathing. If we give him some powder/lotion, he’d put on his face hahaha..
• Taking instructions – he takes instructions pretty well and doing it dilligently.
• Separation anxiety – he’s going thru the pretty bad separation anxiety, especially towards Mommy. Once he sees me going upstairs, even for a bath, he’d whine. If nobody sees him, he will sneak upstairs to look for me. When he’s sleepy, he’d look for me too. And hug me very tight.
• Drawing – he starts to show interest drawing on papers, etc. And after drawing some sketches, he’d say it’s a car. If not he’d ask me draw a car, repeatedly!!
• Medicine – he hates medicine and it’s really tough to trick him since he don’t love all the food that we give him. We tried putting it into Yoghurt, but he has exceptionally sensitive taste bud that once he taste it, he won’t want it..sigh…it’s really a struggle to give him medicine.

Health Record:

• He’s been falling sick on and off for the pass 1 month :(. First it was cough & flu. Then he got well, 2 wks later again it came back with phlegm. Apart from that, the blisters on his legs are getting pretty bad, spreading from 1 leg to the other. Need to bring him for another round of doc.
• Took his Hep A Jab recently as we will be travelling with him soon.
