1st Week Report

Faythe Motherhood Scrapbooking Vyktore
(credits & details here)

I bet everyone is anxious to know what happen to the kids 1st week in school. So here’s the report card for the 1st week. So far so good :). Note, the pic above was taken at home sometime ago. Not their school uniform 😛
Day 1

  • Faythe – she woke up at 8am and ask me to wake up. She can’t wait to go to school. After school when I pick her up, teacher commented that she’s very good girl and used some of the Montessori materials during the class today.
  • Vyktore – didn’t cry when we left cause we left secretly. He was OK, played and sat together with the rest of the children. He was a bit tired towards the end, but couldn’t sleep due to much distraction.

Day 2

  • Faythe – had soft boil eggs with bread for breakfast. Waived bye bye to me when I left.
  • Vyktore – cried when saw us leaving. Lasted for 30minutes. But when I went to pick them up, he refused to go home and wanted me to sit in the class O.o.

Day 3

  • Faythe – 1st time wearing the uniform, she likes it cause I told her it’s the same as other children. She probably feels proud to be the same among all the children. Teacher sent them home and she showed the teacher her dog in MIL’s house. She told me school also got Gabriel, so now she got know 2 Gabriel. 1 at home, 1 in school (at home is the cousin)
  • Vyktore cried for a while, less than 30 minutes, then he got distracted and continue playing. Ate alot when reach MIL’s house and knock off.

Day 4

  • Faythe – teacher told me in the morning, she’s very talkative LOL…memang…chatter box. She asked to hug me when I leave.
  • Vyktore – cried a few minutes then he was OK. Getting used to it. Teacher praised him for being very good boy, can play by himself, unlike other boys. Probably he hasn’t reach the interaction stage with other kids yet. He’s the youngest in the whole group. He slept on the way to MIL’s house

Day 5

  • Faythe – had fry eggs with bread, honey drink for breakfast. Again she wants a hug when I left. She’s now able to put her bag and shoes on the designated rack. Then place her snacks & tumbler on the food rack by herself. One of the teacher commented that she’s a very good sister and protective over Vyktore.
  • Vyktore – screamed so loud when we left the place. But when I went to pick them up, he didn’t wanna wear his shoes. Wanted to continue playing at the slide LOL. Teacher told me he didn’t take his milk, but ate a whole load of food :|. 2 packets of Japanese Rice biscuits (packed from home), pancakes, more biscuits from school. And he drank alot of water. Got bitten on his arm by teacher’s daughter LOL…poor boy, so young got love bite already.

So that’s week 1 report. I only prepare breakfast for Faythe as Vyktore wakes up late most of the time and he’s slow. So we just let him have his milo/milk (sometimes in car, sometimes at home), then he has his snacks in school later.

I pack extra snack for each of them, though the school provides, cause I’m worried they do not have enough. They eat non stop at home usually :|.

Progress report:

  • Faythe – I heard her singing some songs about colours & playing sand. But couldn’t decipher what was that. She made a card for Father’s Day and scribbled some lines on it. No pic of that cause she brought to MIL’s house and I don’t know where they put it.
  • Vyktore – his appetite has grown since he started school. He’s babbling more but can’t really tell what is it, actively talking about car, robot (bot), fish (ish)…that’s his all time favourite words.

  1. Guess Vyktore boy just need time to adapt himself in a new environment… Faythe has growing up become a ‘big sister’ liow….

  2. Good to hear that they are settling in well. I think if Bryan cried, I would have taken him home. I’m a softie! But I suppose in those circumstances, got no choice but to harden the heart right?

I also always pack extra bread of cake for them to bring to nursery, although school did provide lunch and tea time and biscuit and bread too.
