PPN Installation Day

Daddy

extremely backdated…

(credits & details here)

OK, this is very very backdated. But if I don’t post it, probably Mr. Hon will get upset, so have to wrte lah. So Mr. Hon got a pingat (medal) from the present King since last year during the King’s Birthday. But it wasn’t until March they contacted us for the medal presentation. But then again, that time he weren’t around. Hence we skipped that session. In May again we received the letter and so happen he was around, so we finally went to get the medal from the King.

The day before, he went for rehearsal at the Palace. This is not the National Palace in KL, but the Palace in Putrajaya. Whoa, I didn’t know the King has a summer palace there :|. I thought his summer palace should be at some Island LOL.

Anyways, there’s seriously alot of protocols when you are in the Palace, can’t do this, can’t do that. Must walk like this, must sit liddat….gosh….and here can take pics, there can’t…must wear what colour, bla bla..endless list.

So I was Mr. Hon’s guest. They only allowed 1 guest, so I was there to be photographer cum guest. The Palace, I’d say it’s not that grand, but nice lah with all the chandeliers, especially the Balairong Seri (where the installation took place and I couldn’t take pics).

After the installation, we had buffet lunch with rest of the crowd, then we cabut from there. I manage to go around and took some PICS of the Palace. Overall, it was a good experience being there, afterall, when will he get a medal again…maybe not anymore LOL.

Updated: This pingat is known as PPN, Pingat Pangkuan Negara. No carry whatsoever title one, just a medal. But we also can call, Perlahan Perlahan Naik Medal LOL.
